A/n: If y'all want me to write a oneshot of another ship I'll write it.  (Leave requests under Facts About Me)

"You didn't see that coming?"  Those words bounced around in my head for years.  I tried keeping my mind off things, spending time with Nat and such, but it always circled around to him.  Pietro.  He had just became an Avenger.  It was my fault.  I could've stopped him from being an Avenger.  I can't believe I'm still grieving over him.  It's been years.

"Clint?  We gotta go.  Cap needs us."  I glanced at Natasha as she enters my room.  She sighed and rubbed my shoulder.

"You're thinking about him, aren't you?"  I nod, my head lowered.  "I think you'll enjoy this mission."  She said nothing else as she strolled out of the room with a small smirk displayed on her face.  I geared up, grabbing the essentials for a mission.  I walked down to the meeting room where Cap, Banner, Thor, Stark, Nat, Wanda, Vision, and a strange man wearing a cape were all seated.

"Clint, I'd like you to meet Dr. Strange.  He'll be helping us out today."  I nod my head in acknowledgement towards the man.  I noticed how oddly close Stark and Dr. Strange sat.  I trained my attention to the necklace around the man's neck.  It was shaped like an eye and was glowing bright green.

"What does he do?"  I ask.  Strange straightens up in his seat.

"He has a infinity stone.  The time stone.  That means he can travel in time.  He's also magic."  Stark explains to me.  Strange nods in agreement, giving Stark a smirk.  Okay. Weird, I think.

"That leads us to our mission.  We're going to try to bring Pietro back."  Cap concludes.  Wanda smiles nervously.  I visibly brighten.  Nat nudges me in the ribcage, causing me to glare at her fiercely.

"Alright.  The team that's going to Sokovia is Tony, Clint, Nat, Vision, and Strange.  Bruce, Thor, Wanda, and I will stay here to see if things change."  Cap explains.  Everyone nods.  Strange does some weird hand movements, to open up the necklace.  Meanwhile, Tony looks in awe at the man as he works his magic.  Within a couple of moments, we're back in Sokovia.  Jesus, I think as I'm surrounded by horrible memories.

Stark suits up, grabbing Nat and heading west.  Vision picks me up and we speed off, trying to find Pietro.  Strange remains doing the weird finger movements.  Vision drops me next to a pile of debris.  I look around, my vision focusing on Stark and Nat taking down Ultron's ship before it gets the chance to fire at me.  Before Pietro saves my life.  Before I know it, we're back at the Compound.  Wanda, Thor, Banner, and Cap are all sitting around, chatting.

A zip of speed blows past me.  I grin stupidly.  Wanda slaps her brother lightly.  "You almost hurt Clint."  I stare at Pietro like I'm seeing the sun for the first time.  He gives me a confused look.  "You okay?  Why are looking at me weird?"  I crush him into a hug, planting a kiss on his forehead.

"I love you."  I mumbled into his jacket.  He blushes, but doesn't push me away.  "I missed you so much."

"I've been here all along?"  He told me turning to Wanda with a befuddled expression.  She shrugs.

Vision, Nat, Stark, and Strange all give each other knowing looks.  Everyone else doesn't know.  Ooh!  I let go of Pietro.  He softly presses a kiss to my lips.  I freeze in shock.  "What?  You didn't see that coming?"  I respond with another tight hug.

Stark giggles and soon enough, everyone joins.  This was the best day of my life.  I can't wipe the grin off my face for the next couple of days.  It turns out, I really didn't see that coming.
