Tony suited up in his armor, preparing himself for another fight with his rival, Dr. Strange. The villainous sorcerer had kidnapped Peter. Tony knew it was most likely a trap, but he couldn't let Peter be with that man alone. Who knows what he could do to him with the amount of power he has? The Avengers were scheduled to ambush the sorcerer's lair. He was always changing it, making it difficult for them to track. But that wouldn't stop Tony from finding him.
He flew in front of the Quinjet, scanning the ground below. Not a person or house in sight. His suit detects heat signatures in a small shack down below. "This can't possibly be it." Tony grumbled to himself. He landed in front of the dully colored shack, signaling the for the Quinjet to do the same. His repulsors at the ready, Tony enters the shack. The room was bare, with the exception of a crimson sofa. On that sofa sat Strange, sipping a cup of tea. A smirk creeped its way up his face.
"Why hello, Anthony. I suspect you aren't here for a cup of tea."
"Where's the kid? Don't make this difficult." Tony huffs, repulsors aiming at Strange. He lifts his faceplate, looking around for Peter.
"Not even a proper greeting? I'm disappointed, Anthony." Strange gets up from the sofa, stepping closer to Tony. "We wouldn't want Peter to get hurt, would we?"
Tony grabs Strange by the collar, slamming him against the wall. "Where's the kid? I won't ask again." Tony growls, his face inches from Strange's.
"It's not as fun if I tell you. I'd rather you find out." Strange teases, another smirk on his face.
"Tony, have you found Peter?" Steve asks from the comms. "Do you need backup?"
"Not yet. Might need it later." He grabs Strange's wrists, pulling them behind his back and shoving him into the wall. "Tell me where he is. Now. Or I'll blast you to bits."
"But you don't want to do that, do you? Something's stopping you." His deep voice sending chills down Tony's spine. Seeing that Tony is distracted, he blasts him backwards with his magic. He pins Tony down. He leans down to whisper in Tony's ear. "I wonder what that is." Strange smiles at Tony's frustrated expression.
"You're adorable when you're frustrated." Strange casts a spell on Tony to keep him from moving. "Too bad we're on opposite sides. We'd make a great team." He proceeds to bring Peter into the room from the mirror dimension. Peter attempts to speak, but nothing comes out. He was under a spell.
"Peter. It's alright. I'm here." Tony tries to reach for him, still unable to move.
"Don't waste your breath, Anthony."
"Steve. I need backup immediately. Send everyone except Hulk." Tony orders through the comms.
Strange sighs. "Don't make me hurt Peter. He's a great kid, honestly."
"Let him go. I'll take his place. Just don't hurt him." Tony pleads. Strange grins devilishly. "Okay." He sends Peter outside the shack through a portal. Strange casts a spell over the shack, denying the Avengers entry.
"Let's go somewhere more homey." Strange portals them out of the shack. "This will be interesting."
