A/n: This oneshot will feature Pepper and Christine Palmer as a couple. I thought it was really cute and I've decided to give it a try.
Tony smiled warmly at Christine as she entered the coffee shop. They had met when he invited her to Stephen's birthday party, and they instantly became best friends. She reminded him of Pepper and he reminded her of Stephen.
"How are things at the hospital?" He asked Christine as she ordered her coffee.
"How they always are. How's being in love with Stephen?" Tony gasps. She laughed at his appalled expression. "You don't think I've noticed how you are with him? It's painfully obvious."
Tony huffed in slight annoyance. "Is it really that obvious?"
"Yes."
"I think I do a good job at hiding it."
"Tony, literally everyone knows except Peter, Steve, and Stephen himself. You know how oblivious those three are. Half of my hospital staff knows, and they haven't even met you."
Tony wrinkles his nose. "Wow, okay. Message received. I need to be more secretive."
Christine sighs. "Wrong! You need to be more open about it. Stephen will never get the message if you don't outright display it."
"Alright, alright. Don't think I haven't noticed how you are with Pepper." Christine blushes.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Me? And Pepper? I think you've finally gone insane, Tony."
Tony just grinned. "She likes you too. Just ask her out. Don't be in denial about it."
"Only if you ask Stephen out as well."
Tony finished his coffee. "Deal."
Tony gave Christine a ride to Stark Industries. "She'll be in her office. Good luck." He told her, driving towards the Sanctum. He bounded through the door, expecting to see Stephen's handsome face welcoming him. That wasn't exactly the situation he found himself in.
"Where's Stephen?" Tony asked Wong anxiously.
"He went to the Avenger's Compound to see you." Wong replied, a bored look on his face.
"Thanks for the info, Wong. Could you portal me there?" Wong rolled his eyes, but eventually complied.
Tony stepped through the portal, bumping into someone at the Compound. He looked up to see the face of Stephen Strange. "Careful there, Stark. You'd hate to ruin that perfect face of yours." He helped Tony up.
"I've been meaning to talk to you." Tony said, sitting on a stool in the kitchen.
"So have I. Stephen leaned on the counter. He nodded in Tony's direction. "Go ahead."
"Would you like to go on a date tonight? You can pick where. If not, I hope we can still be friends." Tony inquired, a nervous smile on his face.
"Definelty. I was just about to ask you the same thing." Stephen grinned. "Is eight okay?"
"Yes, that's fine." Tony smiled. "I'll see you later, Strange." He swiftly walked to his room.
He quickly dialed Christine's phone number. "He said yes! How did it go with Pepper?"
"That's amazing Tony. She said yes. We're doing something tommorow. We're going to the beach. It's going to be terrific."
Tony smiled at her excitement. "I'm really happy for you. But I have a date to get ready for. I'll call you when it's over."
"Okay, bye. Have fun!" She hung up.
"Rhodey! I need fashion advice, stat!" Tony yelled into the hallway. He was definelty going to take an hour picking out his outfit.
