Nat confidently walked through the doors of the Sanctum with a calm look on her face.  Her eyes scanned the environment around her.  She took a couple of steps into the middle of the room.

"What do you think you're doing here, Miss Romanoff?"  Wong's voice echoed in the silent room.

"I'm here to see Stephen Strange.  We need to talk about something.  It's urgent."  She responds, looking Wong dead in the eyes.

"What did he do this time?  Please tell me he didn't send anyone to the dark dimension again."

"Oh, no, no.  It's nothing like that.  I'm just...checking on him."

Wong smirked.  "We both know you're going to threaten him.  Is it because of him and Stark?"

"You got me there.  I promise it won't get violent."  Nat said with a small grin.

"He needs a good wake up call.  I won't mind if you shove him around a bit."

Nat's grin grows larger.  "Thanks, Wong."

"My pleasure.  He's in the library."  Wong points towards the library.  "While you're at it, tell him to get some sun for once."

Nat nods.  Her footsteps are freakishly quiet as she enters the library.  She finds Stephen looking content while reading.  "Reading about how to properly treat your boyfriend?"

Stephen turned his full attention to her.  "A greeting would be nice, you know."

"Well, you know me Stephen.  I've never been one for politeness."

"You're one of the most polite people I've met, actually.  I don't know what that says about the people I spend time with."  Stephen closed his book.  "I'm actually reading up on the Avenger's latest drama.  It says that you-"

Nat cuts him off.  "We don't need to bring that up.  I'm here to talk about you and Tony."

"Shovel talk, eh?  I didn't peg you as the overprotective type."

"Look, Stephen.  Tony's gotten his heart broken many times.  I don't want to witness that again."  Nat frowns.  So does Stephen.

"I would never let that happen.  Not on my watch."  Stephen says sincerely.

"I'm just letting you know what I'd do if you did.  First, I'd personally come kick your ass.  Then, I'd find out your deepest, darkest secret and let the whole world know.  Then I'd let Tony come kick your ass.  If he doesn't want to, I'd send Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner.  That wouldn't be a pretty picture."

Stephen winces at the image of him being beaten up by the Hulk and Captain America.  Nat clears her throat.

"Probably the scariest thing of all, I would send Pepper Potts after you.  She wouldn't even hurt you, she'd lecture you for two hours until you want to end your own life."

"Sounds horrible.  I definitely don't want to experience that."

"You don't.  Don't even get me started on Rhodey.  I wouldn't even let him near you.  He'd kill you in seconds just from his deathly glare."  She pauses.  "So, yeah that's all."

      "Wow.  Thanks for the information."

"You're welcome.  Have a nice day!"  Nat swiftly exited the library, smiling brightly.

As soon as she left, Stephen let out a breath.   "Jesus fucking christ."  He remarks aloud to himself.  "She is terrifying."
