Chapter 6: New friends

My first week at school finally ended. I made several friends. There's Sabrina in my Math class, Luna in my spanish, science and lunch period, Gavin who's in science too, Danny in study hall and lunch and then theirs Ava who's in my gym class. There mostly the only people who talked to me so far. Me and Luna are hanging out today. She's coming over my house then were penny boarding to Target and Starbucks. I straighten my hair and then put on a pink sweater that says 'On Wednesday's We Wear Pink', then I put on black leggings. I then put on white converse and get out my penny board. I hear the door bell ring.

"I'll get it!" I yell. "Hey Luna welcome to the Princeton house." I then laugh.

I notice that shes wearing a white long sleeve shirt that say's 'Work It' and dark wash skinny jeans.

"Hey Hazel. Your house is beautiful. I love the sweater that's my favorite movie!" Luna exclaims.

"Yeah mine too. Haha well want to go to target now or you wanna hangout here for a bit?" I ask her.

She says. "We could stay here and hang for a bit. If that's fine."

I shake my head. "Yeah of course it is. I'll give you a tour."

I show Luna my house and then we go in my room to watch tv. We both love netflix and the show 'The Walking Dead' so we watched the 1st season. Then two hours later we go to Target and Starbucks. While we are waiting for our Starbucks I see a familiar face.

"Hey, lovely. I didn't think I'll see you here?" Jeydon said.

I blush and tell him. "I'm hanging out with my friend Luna. Jeydon this is Luna. Luna this is my annoying boyfriend Jeydon. Haha."

She laughs and says hi. We get a table together and talk. Mostly it's just me and Luna speaking. We talk about my family and old life in Texas. Jeydon get's bored and decides to leave. Then me and Luna go over to Target.

"This Target is so much nicer then the one I went to in Texas." I tell Luna.

She starts to say as we walk in, "Yeah they just built this one last year. The other one was ten mil-." She suddenly stopped talking.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

She just froze then pulled me to behind the fruits. "That boy over their is Conner Franques. He moved here when I was in 7 th grade from France. He and I were friends then grew apart. He's so hot!"

"Oh so you have a massive crush on him. I see. You know what you should do?" I tell her. "You should go up to him and say hi how are you?"

Luna glares into my eyes. "Are you crazy I can't do that!"

"Come on Luna. All you need is 30 seconds of insane courage and I swear something great will come out of it. It doesn't hurt to say hi Luna. You did to me and know we're friends."

She nods her head. "Okay I'll do it."

Luna lifts up her head and walks over to Conner. He has beach blond curly hair that shines in the lights like crazy and he's also tall and very very fit. He sounds like he has a very hot accent too.

Luna eventually says, "Hi Conner. It's Luna."

"Of course. Long time no talk. How are you doing?" His moods suddenly changes and he's smiling and seems more nervous then her.

She smiles. "I'm great. Been doing terrific!" Luna shakes her head, after knowing what she said sounded awful. "How are you?"

"I been good. Wow Luna you look great. What happen to us. I'm sorry for never contacting you. Maybe we could hangout tonight and catch up?" Conner asked Luna.

'Omg! He just asked Luna out and called her great! Wow I'm good at this.' I thought to myself.

"Sure thing Conner. I can't wait to catch up. Here's my number." She then gives him her number then walked over to me.

I smile and tell her. "See that didn't hurt! You did great! Now let's go buy you a smoking hot outfit for tonight."

"Thanks so much Haz! Your the best. Also that boyfriend of yours Jeydon. You guys fit perfect together!"

We go look for a outfit for her and then go back to my house to get her ready.
