Chapter 12: Valentines Day Dilemma

Friday couldn't have came slower enough. After today we have off for the next whole week. I don't know why but who cares. Tonight I have a big date with Jeydon. It's Valentines Day and he's taking me out to this five star restaurant and then back to his place for watching 'Movies'. Tonight we might actually do it for the first time. I'm a virgin but he's not. I told him once before. I'm super nervous. I hope this school day goes by super fast but it won't. I have drama after school. Sabrina made me join it with her. She's an amazing singer.

After school I wait around for my brothers practice to end so he can take me home. I'm sitting on the bleachers watching him play hockey and then Gavin walks in. He sits down two rows in front of me. Then he talks to his friends and leaves. A minute later he texted me.

Gavin: "Can we please meet later and talk?"

I roll my eyes and shake my head when I read the text. I reply back. So what I guess I'll meet him and talk.  Anyway as I leave the stadium I grab Mike's keys from him to go warm up the car and wait.

Three hours later I get ready to go to the Coffee shop and meet Gavin. I put on my outfit for my date cause I'm going right to the restaurant after to meet Jeydon. I put on a white lace knee length dress with dark tan stockings, beige heels, pearls and a gold shiny plain necklace. I wear my hair in a side braid and I apply a smoking eye look makeup. I put on my coat and leave. My mom drives me to the coffee house. When I arrive people stare at me due to me wearing a dressy elegant outfit haha. I don't care. I wait for Gavin. Ten minutes later he's still isn't here. I text him and call him no answer. I wait for a half hour and finally he's here. I still only have 30 minutes until I have to leave.

        "Hey Hazel. Wow you look amazing." Gavin says.

        I smile a little. "Hi. What took you so long?"

        "Sorry I was busy working late. I'm glad that we could meet and talk." 

        "What do you want to talk about?" I asked.

        He starts to say, "First off I'm sorry for what happened at the party. Second I'm-I was practically the reason you broke your leg."

        I glare at him. "It was you?! Why would you do such a thing?!"

        I yelled at him so loud people started to look at us. I cross my arms and ready to storm out. I get up but he grabs my arm.

        "Wait Hazel! Don't go. I only tripped you because I was stupid and angry. I shouldn't have done it. I'll do anything to make it up to you Haz please." He explained.

        I sit back down and think. "Fine just never ever do anything like that again. Especially to no one else unless the girl cheated on you."

        He smiles a little. "Thank you so much Hazel. Hopefully we can be friends?" 

        "I guess so." 

        He reaches across the table and puts his hand on my arm. "That's great." He stares at me and I stare back until I noticed what was happening and stopped.

        "Look I sh-" I look outside and see Jeydon looking furious for seeing me with Gavin and his hand on my arm and the look we exchanged. 

        "Omg." I run out side in my heels and yell after Jeydon as he's walking away. "Jeydon, baby please stop walking to fast. It wasn't what it looked like at all. Please stop."

        He stops and turns around. He's wearing a very nice suit and its hard looking at him with out feeling happy. "If you don't love me then why don't you just say it Hazel. Stop humiliating me and hurting me. We could just break up if you like Gavin."

        I shake my head and hold back my tears. "Are you crazy? I'm madly in love with you. I don't have any feelings at all for Gavin I swear. Just listen to me love. We were just patching up our friendship. He's not a bad guy. Just don't worry about him. I want you and only you. I won't stop loving you even if the stars are falling. I won't stop loving you even if the world stopped turning and was swallowed up. I would never stop loving you Jeydon."

        He stays silent for a while and sits on the ground against the closed toy store window. I sit down next to him in the snow not caring if my dress gets ruined. 

        Jeydon places his hand on my knee and his other intertwines with my hand. He looks up at me and tells me, "I love you Hazel. I would never stop loving about you. I can't ever picturing myself with someone else. I want you and only you. I crave you and only you."

        He kisses me and my body floats away. After, I rest my head on his shoulder and we watch as the clouds started rolling in and the cars passed by on the snowy roads. We stay there on the ground  until the clock struck twelve.
