Chapter 14: Luna & Conner

*Luna's POV*

I will never forget the day when I came home from school that day and found my parents sitting in the living room. My mom was crying and my dad seemed mad. My parents stared at me when I walked in.

"Hi guys. What's wrong?" I asked nervously.

They start to say something but stop. I think to myself...What if they found my secret Ana account on Twitter...omg my deepest secret is being revealed. I can't believe this is happening. Woah Luna slow down. Breathe. It may not even be happening.

"Luna we need to talk." My parents say.

Next thing I know I'm in this white room. It had tall white walls, white floors, white lights, white bed and white desk. The window had a beautiful view of a park I don't know. What did my parents do drug me? How did I get here? Where am I? I think I blacked out. I have on this white hospital gown.

There's a knock on the door. "Luna hi I'm Jan and I will be your nurse these next few weeks. How are you holding up?"

"Where am I?" I ask her.

She stands closer to me. "You are in Green Grove Mental Hospital. Your here for recovery from Anorexia and Depression."

My head hurts and the room starts to turn. Omg this isn't happening. I'm not crazy. I'm not crazy.

"Luna are you feeling alright?" Nurse Jan asks.

I look up. "Umm I'm feeling quite better actually I think I should go. I have school tomorrow and things to do."

"Haha Luna you haven't even been here for a day. You have to stay here for a long long time. It won't hurt or be bad unless you don't follow the rules. If that happens you will be locked in a white room in a stray jacket getting a eating tube down your throat...trying to get that last breath in but I'll be too late."

She laughs and laughs then I hear a alarm going off...I open my eyes and scream out. Luna it was just an awful nightmare. That part of the hospital didn't ever happen. Relax.

I put on a mint green long sleeve shirt, white jeans and brown combat boots. I go down stairs to breakfast to eat then go to school. I'm so nervous to go back after being hospitalized for a while. I can't wait to see Conner though. I wonder if he still like's me.

As I wait at lunch for Hazel and Ava I hear Conner.

"Hey Luna. Where have you been? I missed you." Conner said.

I smile as I see him. "Aw I missed you too! I been very sick lately I'm sorry."

"No problem hun. Maybe we could go out for lunch to catch up if you don't have any other place to go?"

I nod my head and we go in his truck. He drives a black old pickup truck. We drive to Chick-fil-a and go through the drive through. We go to the windy marina and eat our lunch at the bench.

"Well I never imagined my first date with you to be at the marina eating lunch aha." Conner laughed.

I giggled. "Aw yeah same. To be honest I never thought we'd ever get to go on a date."

He looked into my eyes and held my hand. "We are now. You are one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. I wouldn't want to go on a date with anyone else."

"Me too."

We finish our lunch and walk to the water. Our hands are so close to each other and then a second later he's holding my hand. I smile at him and he smiles back. The water splashes against our feet and it's freezing. He picks me up and I laugh. We lock our eyes and he reaches in to kiss me softly then passionately. It felt like a million of fireworks were firing off.

"Luna I really like you."

I kiss him and whisper, "I really like you too Conner."

We get back to school and hold hands walking to class. We pass by Hazel and Danny. They are laughing and pointing. I roll my eyes and stop in the hall to kiss Conner.

"See you later love." I say and kiss him.

He kisses me and says "I can't wait babe."

I walk over to Hazel and Danny.

"Luna you and Conner look really cute together!!" Hazel says.

"You go girl!" Danny says with an attitude.

I smile and say, "Thanks you guys. We just went on our first date. It was so spontaneous but fun. It was beautiful. Perfect."

I go home and eat a snack. My parents watch me as I eat and then follow me to my bedroom.

"You guys don't need to follow me or stare at me all the time. Please give me so space." I yelled at them then slammed my door.

I cry and then sneak out to the park. I walk to the park in the heavy rain and then sit on the swings. I swing for a while and then someone puts there hands over my eyes.

"Guess who?" A male voice whispers into my ear.

I smile and take his hands off and kiss him. "What are you doing here baby?"

"I was just walking along the street and saw you over here upset. What wrong?" Conner asked me.

I tell him everything that has happened and cry. I tell him about the hospital and my disease. He holds me as I cry.

"Luna you don't need to be scared anymore. I'm here for you whenever and wherever. I like you so much." Conner tells me.

I smile and kiss him. And think to myself how lovely he is.
