Chapter 4: Saturday

I'm unpacking my living room when my Phone vibrates. It's a text from Jeydon saying he's picking me up at 6 for a tour of the town. My brother Mike is siting on the couch texting. I roll my eyes because he's supposed to be helping me.

"Mike!" I yell throwing a pillow at him. "Your supposed to be helping!"

"Okay okay." He moans.

At around 3 o'clock I go and take a shower. Then I do my makeup at my vanity and put my long brunette hair in a bun. My blue eyes twinkle in the mirror as I apply eyeliner. I put on a grey shirt that has a Eiffel tower on it and a royal blue floral flowery skirt. I slip on white converse and grab my pink winter northface. I wait till 6 for Jeydon. Meanwhile my little brother Tommy pulls on my laces.

"Tommy do you have to do that." I say while tossing him in the air.

He laughs and says in his cute little voice, "Where are you going? Can I go!"

"I have a date with a really cute guy. You can't come bud but maybe tomorrow I could take you to this park down the road. Would that sound fun?"

"YEAH!" Tommy screams.

I laugh then see that Jeydon is here I hug and kiss Tommy good bye then yell good bye. I walk outside and hopped into the car.

"Brrr it's freezing out there." I announced.

Jeydon smiles, "Don't worry you'll get used to that."

While he drives he compliments me on my appearance. First he takes me to his favorite coffee house.

"I love coffee!" I said with joy.

"Me too." He opens up the car door for me. I thank him.

He asked, "You should get the maple syrup latte. It's the best in the country."

We sit down and talk about his career and school life.

"I am a singer and gamer. Right now I'm taking classes at Canada University for film and video. I just started last year and finish in two years." He says.

I add, "That's amazing. What kind of music do you play?"

"Mostly acoustic guitar and I sing/rap."

I say, "That's cool. I want to go to college after High School but I don't know what for."

He suggests. "Well there's lot's of options..."

We talk a bit more. I notice that he's wearing a blue sweater with white horizontal stripe thin lines with tan pants. Jeydon is wearing blue converse and has a blue/black coat on his chair. He's talking to me with those big green eyes when he blinks they sparkle like theirs glitter in them. We get up and walk around the main part of town which is in Ontario. We go into this shop called 'Kinleys Kandles'.

When I walk in it smells like Christmas in there. Jeydon shows me his favorite.

Then he said, "Pick out any candle you want and i'll buy it for you. It'll be our candle."

I smiled and point to his favorite which is Maple Pancakes. He picks it up.

"Aww your too cute." He said glowing.

I blush and smile. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! I say to myself 'does he like me back?'

We walk around the fountain and then he pulls out his wallet and hands me a penny. I hold it while he puts the wallet back in.

"Were gonna both close our eyes. Then make a wish. Then on the count of three were both going to throw the penny in the water. You have to also watch where the penny lands. Or it won't come true." Jey said.

I shake my head and say okay. I close my eyes and wish that Jeydon kisses me by the end of the nite. We count to three and throw. I watch the penny and it lands on the bottom then Jeydon's land's right on top of mine. We both drop our jaws and wonder.

i turn to him, "Wow that was weird. Did you ever see that happen before?"

"No never did. Huh maybe it's good luck!" He shrugs his shoulders.

We walk and talk for a while. There was a point of awkward silence. Then i felt Jeydon's hand in my hand. Inside i'm screaming 'Yay were holding hands!!'. But I act cool and hold his back. We get to the car and he pulls out penny boards.

I laugh, "Haha you better pick me up when I ride right into that garbage can."

"Of course Haz! Just don't fal in the fountain." He laughs.

We take off on riding. I balance myself while skating.

"Here hold my hand. It'll help." Jeydon asked.

I grab his hand and then I slide down a patch of ice and Jeydon comes running then he catches me and dips me. I stare right into his eyes as he stares into mine. That sparkle of glitter are in is eyes again. Then the snow falls and he kisses me. It felt so right and good. He then helps me up.

"What you wish for?" He asked

"It just came true."

"Me too:)" Jeydon said with a smile.

"How about I help teach you how to ride?" He giggles.

I stand on the board and Jeydon put his hands on my waist and pushes we while I fly my arms up. I feel like I'm flying! It was perfect. After a while we so into the car he brings me home and walks me to my door.

I say, "Thanks for tonight it was perfect."

Jeydon says, "Your perfect. I really love to go out with you again."

"Me too."

We kiss and then hug. I walk inside and close the door and whisper to myself, "Love at first sight."
