An explosion overwhelmed my darkness, causing it to retreat back within me. A smirk formed on my ashy face as I took in the presence in front of me. Bakugo and Kirishima stood next to Colonel Iida and his reinforcements. Kurogiri froze in fear for just enough time to allow Bakugo to land an explosion in his physical body.
"Geesh, couldn't handle this nimrod on your own?" Katsuki wiped cinders from his face and murderous intent danced in his eyes— he had waited too long for this moment.
"Well I caged up one of them, but my quirk isn't best against him. You actually brought reinforcements? That's a first," I chuckled, getting laughter from Kirishima as well.
"ONLY BECAUSE THEY BEGGED ME! I CAN SO DO THIS ON MY OWN!" Bakugo retorted. Kurogiri was about to use the commotion to make an escape, but Bakugo quickly pinned him to the ground.
"Bakugo, we probably shouldn't kill him," Kirishima sighed, strolling over to Bakugo.
"Why the heck not?! This freak made (Y/n)'s life a living hell! This is war!" Bakugo's eyebrows furrowed and I swore that I saw a single tear shimmer in his red eyes.
"How about I help y'all?" A cocoa-skinned girl stepped out of line and in front of Iida, causing him to scold her.

"Soldier! How many times do I have to tell you to stay in your spot! Order is key in battle!" Iida waved his hands in all directions, but the girl just dismissed him.
"Yeah yeah, but you'd think you'd know my name after scolding me so much. Any who, I believe I can be of some assistance if you don't want to kill the feller," the girl smiled, revealing pearly white teeth that contrasted with her dark skin. Bakugo was about to argue, but I sent a dark surge to slap him and shut him up.
"What can you do?" I looked seriously into her crystal blue eyes that began to glimmer with excitement.
"Finally! I get to get into all the action!" The young girl, who looked to be about my age, pumped her fist in the hair, receiving some groans from her comrades. I failed to cover a chuckle that escaped my lips.
"Okay, so my quirk allows me to teleport anything I touch with these two portals," she raised her hands to reveal to glossy, dark purple circles, "into an abyss. Shall I demonstrate on the Foggy Fella?"
"Yeah go ahead, Bakugo will keep him down," I motioned towards Kurogiri, who Bakugo was currently murmuring curses towards the well-dressed man. The girl let out a quick squeal and bound on over to the previously described scene, black coils of hair bouncing against her back. The corners of my lips curled upwards as the girl excitedly prepared to demonstrate her quirk.
"Stand back, or not, and prepare, or not, to be mind blown!" The girl went between throwing her hands in the hair and gently lowering them, before she laid her hands on Kurogiri's physical form. Bakugo stepped back as a powerful darkness began to consume her victim. Darkness... like mine?
