Shouto's POV

I leaned myself up against a tree and took in the sight of the massive ice prism. I couldn't figure out why (Y/n) was acting so weird, but I was sure it was because she was nervous. I was clueless as to how she was going to defeat him on her own, if King All Might couldn't even defeat him. My worries kept growing, but I had to have faith in her. Plus, she promised me she wouldn't die and she never goes back on her promises.

"Oi! What the heck is that!" A battered and bruised Bakugo walked over to Kirishima and I. Kirishima sunk his razor teeth into his bottom lip and began to sweat.

"JUST STAY AWAY FROM IT!" Kirishima yelled. He waves his hands frantically, causing Bakugo and I to become utterly confused.

"What? Why not, Weird Hair?" Bakugo questioned.

"She said-" Kirishima smacked his mouth shut, as if he almost let out a big secret.

"Kirishima, you will tell me what she said," I said with my infamous icy tone, sending Kirishima into a fit of shivers.

"Hey, Hot Pocket! Kirishima is my guard not yours! Kirishima you will tell me what she said!" Bakugo screamed, the two of us now tugging on his two wings. Kirishima started crying, while Bakugo and I kept yelling.

"Knock it off, idiots! What's the big deal and why is there a massive prism of ice? Hold up, where's (Y/n)?!" Of course, Rory decided to show up at this point. Bakugo and I froze, releasing Kirishima who plummeted to the ground.

"Geesh, one question at a time. Who's the chick?" Bakugo pointed at a dark-skinned girl that Rory was carrying. Rory's eyes flashed open wide and then flicked down to the muscular girl who was passed out cold.

"That's not important right now," he brushed it off and set the girl down by my father. "Now... Where. Is. My. Sister." All three of us pointed at the massive mountain of ice.

"Hey Rory, has it gotten... darker here? It's noon, but-" General Tokoyami marched  towards us with his bandaged army.

"No. She's not. She wouldn't!" Rory picked Tokoyami up by his cape with ease. Tokoyami didn't seem to be fazed by the gesture, rather slightly concerned.

"Everything points to it, though. The drained light, the prism... who made this prism?" The general asked, everyone turning their heads to me.

"She asked me to help her out and make an ice prism. That's all she said. What, is something wrong?" I asked, confused on why this was such a big deal.

"Melt it now!" Rory shouted at me. I hesitated for a second, only to be shoved by Rory. I stumbled up to my creation and placed my two hands on the freezing substance. This was exhausting, especially after not using my quirk for so long. I used all my energy to create flames greater than my father's... but the ice didn't change.

"What? That's weird... it's not melting," I stated, quizzically.

"We're too late," Rory sighed and a single tear trickled down his usually stoic face. My own expressionless face twisted into one of fear. "The only thing we can do now is make sure her death was not in vain."

"DEATH?!" Bakugo, Kirishima, and I shouted at the same time.

"What do you mean death?! You have to be joking, right! She promised me! SHE PROMISED ME SHE WOULDN'T DIE!" My voice broke and tears flooded my eyes. I felt as if I was staring into a shattered mirror. What had I done?!

"General, keep Prince Shouto as far away from here as possible... he will only make this worse. For you two, Prince Bakugo and Sir Kirishima, if you can promise to help (Y/n) finish her job, then you can stay. If not, feel free to follow Prince Shouto," Rory rolled his shoulders back and his entire demeanor changed. I froze and General Tokayami walked over to me.
