Prince Shouto's POV

I slammed the door behind me. For a split second, I had wondered if she was different from all of the other suitors, but she was too much like the last girl. Lady Yaoyorozu, better known as Lady Momo, of the Kingdom of Uwabami, only seemed to think about Uwabami. She would say things like "Well, if it will help the Kingdom of Uwabami" and I hated it. I didn't understand how it seemed everyone was okay with these arranged marriages! At least this one seemed to have some self-confidence, but I was not as curious about her as I was her guard. He was strange and seemed untrustworthy. He was completely black in color, except for the whites of his eyes. I couldn't help but wonder if he was a spy from the kingdom of Explodo-Kills. Prince Bakugo would go to extremes to try and win power. He practically already ran his own kingdom. I couldn't stand him.

I was walking around, hoping to find "Sir Rory", but instead ran into a trash can. Oh, and Fuyumi too.

"Fuyumi showed Sir Rory to his room, did you show the princess to hers?" The trash can, my father, asked. I nodded my head and gazed at the unusually silent Fuyumi. Maybe I was right and that guy is now mind-controlling my sister! I clenched my jaw at the thought.

"Shouto, you said you brought Princess (L/n) to her room, but I just checked and she wasn't there," Fuyumi finally spoke. My father folded his arms and raised an eyebrow.

"She found our garden enchanting, so I put her in a room in which she could see it. Let me be clear, I was not doing this to show any kind of affection. I did this because she is our guest and is to be treated with the best in mind," I huffed. I didn't want him thinking I was okay with this or even liked her as an acquaintance.

"If you say so," Fuyumi giggled. "Oh and Sir Rory would like to speak to you in the library in five minutes." I responded with an "OK" and turned without being dismissed by my father. He hated it when I did this, but could do nothing to stop me.

I made my way to the library and noticed that it was extremely dark. I tried to use the fire of my left side to light up the unsettling library, but it disappeared. Actually, it didn't really disappear, it just turned pitch black.

"I'm sorry about the darkness, it's hard for me to control around strangers. I'm pretty exhausted from trying to hold it back on the carriage ride and at dinner, so you'll have to excuse that," the voice belonging to Sir Rory spoke.

"As next in line for the throne of Endeavor, I'm afraid it wouldn't be intelligent for me to step any further into this unknown abyss," I stated.

"Dude, it's just your library, but okay," Sir Rory said casually. I had never been referred to in such an informal manner, but I couldn't find it in me to be appalled.

"You must think you're quite something to refer to me as 'dude'," I growled. I could hear the knight hold back a chuckle.

"Look, I may not be next in line to a throne, but I'm fairly high up in the Palace of Crystalli. I also don't doubt that I, with more training, could easily beat you in a duel, but I refuse to use my quirk for such foolishness. I'm getting off topic," Sir Rory sighed. I could tell he was trying to sound formal, but there was a shake in his voice. He was definitely younger than both Princess (L/n) (y/n) and I. He had a large vocabulary like the princess and I noted that the two were definitely mentally stronger than me. I did have my doubts about him being physically stronger, though. "What I meant to tell you is that I don't care whether you like your father or if you want to rebel against him, but if you hurt Princess (Y- ...(L/N) I will have no choice, but to make you pay for your actions. The princess has thrown her life away to make the lives of her people better. That's all I had to say. Good night, I shall be heading to my room." I stood speechless. It was obvious that the princess wanted this no more than I did, but her care for her people was different than Lady Momo's. Maybe I should go out of my way to get to know her. We could go to the garden after training tomorrow? I thought. The darkness dissolved and I was left alone in the library. I was too tired to go to my room and fell asleep on one of the library sofas.

Rory's POV
Gosh that was the most I've ever talked in one sitting, well, to someone other than (n/n). I never want to do that again.

(Y/N) POV
I woke up to someone setting a metal tray on the bedside table. I rubbed my eyes and noticed that I had fallen asleep completely sideways on the bed, with my beaded dress still on. My hair was a mess an I squinted up at a cheerful maid.

"Oh, good morning, Your Highn-"

"Please, Miss, just call me (y/n). I'd rather not use formalities if we don't have to," I said groggily.

"Oh, anything you say, Miss (y/n)!" Well we're getting closer, I thought. "This wasn't originally supposed to be your room, so your wardrobe isn't in here. A butler should be bringing most of it soon. I made you some hot chocolate and (favorite breakfast), enjoy!" The maid started to bounce out of the room.

"Wait, thank you Miss... um?"

"Uraraka Ochako, but if we are ignoring formalities, please call me Ochako, no 'Miss'," she bowed.

"Thank you Ochako," I sat up smiling, as Ochako left giddily. I sleepily grabbed my hot chocolate, but didn't realize how hot it was. I spilled it all over my one-of-a-kind dress. What a shame, guess I can't wear this again, I thought with sarcasm. The butler should be arriving with my clothes soon, so I took off the dress and went into the bathroom attached to my room. I took a shower and wrapped myself with a soft, white towel. There was a loud-ish knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in!" I yelled, from inside the bathroom. "Sir, if you could just set them on my bed for now, that would be lovely," I shouted, assuming it was a butler. It had been a while, and I heard the door faintly shut. I took off the towel on my head, but left the one covering me on... just in case. I opened the door and...

Shouto's POV
I saw one of the butlers, Shoji Mezo, carrying a giant load of clothes in his multiple arms. He told me that he was taking them to Princess (L/N)'s room and I decided to help him. We arrived at the place and I heard her kindly ask for them to be set on the bed. She wasn't in her room, but the bathroom door was shut, so I figured she was doing her hair or something. Shoji left, but I needed to tell (L/N) where we were to be training, so I sat on her bed and waited.

The bathroom door finally creaked open and I turned to see...

THE PRINCESS IN ONLY A TOWEL WITH SOAKED HAIR AND PURE SHOCK IN HER EYES. OH NO OH NO OH NO SIR RORY IS GOING TO MURDER ME!

"What are you doing in here?!" She yelled clutching her towel even more.

"I-I-I'm so sorry!" I turned around immediately and began walking towards the window that exposed the garden. "I was coming just to tell you that training starts at 11 AM, two hours from now, I didn't know you were... in the shower."

"WELL I CERTAINLY HOPE YOU DIDN'T BECAUSE, A, YOU'D BE A STALKER, AND B, YOU'D BE A CREEPY, PERVERT PRINCE LIKE PRINCE MINETA!!!!!!" She hid behind the bathroom door.

"Wait did you say 'Mineta'? Gosh, the Prince of Grapeland is a sorry excuse for a prince. I'd feel awful for anyone forced to be with him..." I trailed off.

"I WAS FORCED TO BE WITH HIM!" She snapped.

"AAHHHH YOU POOR THING- err, I mean, hmph," I huffed. I couldn't figure out why she was making me act so weird. It wasn't like I liked her or anything! I decided that it was because of Sir Rory's threat.

"You're weird. Now get out of my room so I can change into my training gear," she laughed. She laughed, like a real laugh, and at me. Why me? I wasn't funny? Was I? Ugh, I'm leaving. I stood up and left. I heard a fit of laughter from inside (L/N)'s bedroom and couldn't help, but smirk. Ewww no, I don't smile. Not for a freak-show like her, at least. I shook it off and headed back to my room.

(Y/N)'s POV

Well that wasn't the butler.
