Your POV
"I OBJECT!" Everyone's heads turned towards the shouter. King Enji scowled and his flames increased. Panic seized my body.

"IN FACT, as Highest Prince of Endeavor I hereby ROYALLY DECLINE this idea!" Fire crept up Shouto's left arm and a thin patch of ice covered his right cheek.

"Sho... Prince Todoroki... what do you think you are doing?" My left brow twitched and I felt a sudden sense of inevitable doom.

"I, too, would like to know what in the world you are doing?!" King Enji's voice boomed and was followed by his massive fist meeting the great table.

"There is no way I am letting MY fiancé be bait for a force we have no idea how powerful is! That's not princely!" Shouto shouted. His words seemed to be directed at his father, but his eyes sent knives towards me.

"Since when do you care about being princely? Or about your fiancé, for that matter. Wasn't it just last week that you told me you wished she had never come here?" I didn't notice the corner of the king's lips turn upwards. Rory attempted to step forward, but I kept him back with my right hand. It was as if one of Shouto's icicles had shot right through my heart. I mean, I knew we didn't love eachother, but I thought we were at least friends... I guess I was wrong.

"If that is how you feel, Your Highness, than surely you would be okay with my suggestion. Wouldn't you?" My voice was tainted with betrayal.

Shouto's POV

Flashback:
"Shouto, my son, it's been a while..." My father had demanded a meeting with me, much to my objection. I simply grunted as a response.

"I noticed you have been spending a significant amount of time with Princess (L/n)... seems like you're growing to be quite fond of her. I knew you would like her," the man laughed heartily and slapped my back, causing me to bite my lip.

"She's alright," I mumbled.

"Alright?! Just alright?! Ha! You've practically fallen head over heels for the girl!" My father accused me.

"I HAVE NOT! HONESTLY, I WISH SHE NEVER CAME HERE!" I shouted, not thinking I would pay for the words I couldn't eat.

"Oh do you now? Why is that? You two seem to get along so well."

"Get along? You must be mistaken. She makes  me unbearably uncomfortable. Every time I see her I... I just want to punch her in the face! She's fake; she has two totally opposite personalities and, frankly, I hate both of them. She has absolutely no control of her quirk and I don't want to deal with kids that have the same quirk," I didn't know what I was saying. I knew that when I was around her she made me struggle to control my body temperature and that I got scared whenever she teared up thinking about a traumatic past event. I didn't understand why and the words I told my father were the only ones I could think of to explain how I felt. Plus, I didn't want him to be right.

End of flashback

"No! I didn't mean that!" I was instantly regretting my stupid decision to actually speak words to my father... I should have known he would turn them against me for his own benefit.

"Why don't you shut up, Bomb Pop!" Bakugo's eyes were glowing and Kirishima was apologizing profusely for Bakugo's actions.

"There has to be another way, besides using Princess (L/n) as bait!" Prince Midoriya shouted and I was crossing my fingers that he would come up with a new plan quickly.

"If I go alone and leave my guard here, that will add extra protection along with draw Myoung away," (y/n) suggested. I couldn't fathom why she was so insistent on going off on her own... not even taking Rory with her.
