(Y/N)'s POV
I opened my eyes to the sight of faint light creeping into my room from the window. I was still in my dress from the day before and I was tucked under my silk comforter. I noticed that my combat boots were sitting next to the door and a yellowish-white scrap seemed to be hanging out of them. I groggily stepped out of bed to see what was hidden in my left boot. I neared the door and...

SMACK!

The door hit my face and the sleepy me tumbled to the ground, tangled up in my excessively long dress.

"Good morning Princess (Y/N)- (Y/N)?! OH MY GOSH, YOUR HIGHNESS I'M SO SORRY. OH HOW CAN YOU EVER FORGIVE ME, I'M SO SORRY (Y/N)!" Uraraka, as flustered as ever, through her hands in the air... spilling tea everywhere. She was practically crying at this point, still apologizing over and over. I sat tangled up on the ground chuckling and she looked at me with confused, watery eyes.

"Uraraka, it's so nice to see you! Guess my body wanted to go back to bed! I think the tea stains really add a nice splash of color to this bland dress. Speaking of this dress, I seem to be a bit tangled up, mind helping me out!" I laughed. She quickly ran to my aid and helped free my from my binds of fabric. Although she forbade me, I helped her clean up to tea and invited her to sit in the small (f/c) sofa in my room. As she did, I grabbed a peasant blouse and (f/c) layered skirt from my closet, went behind my byōbu (changing screen), and changed.

"Prin- I mean (Y/N)! What are you wearing?!" Uraraka exclaimed.

"This old thing?" I laughed. "I snuck out of the palace one day, about a year ago, and picket it up at one of the markets during our Crystal Festival. Isn't it lovely?" I turned to show off how well the skirt moved. Wearing ball gowns and expensive jewelry everyday always made me feel so distant from my people. I rarely got to go and socialize with them, so this made me feel I little closer to them. Uraraka scoffed before giggling. We casually chatted for a bit about Crystalli, before I remembered the mystery that lay in my boot.

"Hold on, Uraraka, I remembered that I was doing something right before you walked in," I stood up off the sofa and wandered over to my combat boots. Inside was a small, folded piece of paper. I unfolded it and looked at the writing,

Princess (Y/N),
I would like to inform you that, in Endeavor, it is considered rude to fall asleep on another person without asking permission. I hope you will learn the ways of this kingdom and not make a fool of yourself again. Also, thanks to the commotion you caused the other day in training, I have to train super early every morning with my father for longer periods of time.

Hope you are happy with yourself,
Todoroki, Highest Prince and Future Heir of Endeavor

I laughed at the end formality, for it looked plainly stupid. It seemed as if he had forgotten last night entirely... not that it mattered. We were both tired and in shock of my mirage, nothing else. The night in the garden meant absolutely nothing... right? I tried to make sense of the twists and turns of his emotions... and my own and ended up tossing the note onto my desk.

"What is it?" Uraraka questioned.

"Nothing, just a note from... Sir Rory," I awkwardly laughed because I didn't want anyone knowing about the prince and my time in the garden. Uraraka nodded before squealing, remembering she was needed in the king's presence in moments time. She fluttered out the door, slamming it behind her. Once I was alone, I plopped down on my bed and sighed.

At least he used my name.
