"Ah Sho~chan, thanks for breaking my fall! Look you can yell at me later, but we kind of need to get out of here because if you look up, yeah that man would be ecstatic to have both our heads on plaques. Hey look, you've got yourself a horse. Now how about we put that to good use," I patted Shouto's shoulder. Suddenly, he dropped me on the ground. "Hey! Could you be a little nicer to your fiancé?!"
"What did you call me?"
"It's pretty well known that we're getting married," I stated.
"No, before that you idiot!"
"Geesh, can we focus on the task at hand because Sir Rory isn't getting any calmer," I pointed up to a steaming Rory.
"Yeah, yeah. Hop on," Shouto hopped onto his white stallion and extended an arm, helping me on. Luckily, the skirt I had bought at that market back home was a high-low style and I could easily sit on the horse, without having to side-saddle. Shouto pulled the reigns and the stallion whinnied, rearing back onto it's hind legs, before it galloped off towards the palace gates. I giggled as I heard Rory's yells grow further away.

"Do I even want to know what you were doing?" Shouto asked.
"I didn't exactly tell Rory that I was leaving the infirmary and meeting up with you... yeah he didn't take that very well. He's a great guard, that's for sure, but you don't want to be on his bad side," I sighed.
"Trust me, I know," Shouto joined in on my sigh, as I gave him a confused look he couldn't see. "You owe me one, though. I just saved your life."
"Sure you did, but I don't owe you anything," I grinned.
"Come again?" He scoffed.
"Well, for starters, marrying me is reward enough because I'm freaking awesome. Second of all, you're a jerk and this is what you get for that stupid letter you wrote me," I tried taking my hands off his waist, in hopes of crossing my arms, but quickly realized I wouldn't be able to hold my balance. I swiftly moved them back and blushed from my clumsy actions.
