It was the start of the season and Jeongguk couldn't contain his excitement. "Are you coming with me to orientation?" He asked Taehyung who sighed and shook his head.

"No Jeongguk, I have homework I need to do," He said throwing away his lunch. "Besides you know I'm not intrested in that kind of stuff." He shrugs.

Jeongukk pouts. "You can be if you came to my practices." He mumbled but Taehyung simply ignored him.

Jeongukk is a polo player, water polo to be exact. It's a mix of soccer and football but in the water. He got into polo when his close friends, Namjoon and Seokjin, invited him to one of their games.

He soon fell in love with the aggressive sport.

The thought of winning after so much hard work really had him going, he was ecstatic when he tried out for the team and made it. Of course he invited Taehyung to join him on the fun but he disagreed, stating that getting hit in the face with a ball wasn't really what he called fun.

But Jeongguk didn't care. As long as he enjoyed it that's all that mattered to him.

"You ready for today Gguk?" Namjoon said as he smacked Jeongguk's back. He winced but nodded his head with a smile nonetheless.

"Are you kidding me? I can't wait!" He yelled causing Namjoom to chuckle.

This was Jeongguk's second year doing polo and he still can't get over the sport.

"Jimin!" The two boys' heads turn towards Taehyung. "I'll catch up with you guys later, I'm going to go speak with Jimin." He said before waving them off, running towards the small boy.

They shrugged.

**

"Hey!" Jimin jumped at the sudden voice next to him.

"God Tae do you always have to come up next to me like that?" The two boys laughed. "What's up?"

"Sorry about that but I wanted to ask when the swim season started and if you're going to be swimming with the polo players again?" Taehyung asked and Jimin nodded with a sour look.

"I don't like swimming with the polo players are next to us, yes they're a few lanes away but they're still there." The small boy pouted causing Taehyung to chuckle.

"I'm sure it isn't so bad, they're hot aren't they?" Jimin pursed his lips, nodding.

Jimin was the same age as Jeongguk and Taehyung. Oddly the two boys are friends with Taehyung but don't even know either of them exist. They even have something in common,

They're both involved in water sports.

Jimin has been swimming ever since he was a little boy, age eight to be exact. He started swimming to cope with his anxiety and for his mother, who swam in high school.

Unfortunate for him his mother passed when he was nine. It was a freak accident to say the least. Now he lives with his grandmother, his father being out of the picture.

Jimin and Taehyung wonder into their history class together and sit down side by side. "Can I sleep over tonight? My parents are going out for the night and I don't want to be alone." Taehyung shyly asked.

"Oh course! My home is yours. Besides my grandmother loves you, sure she won't mind." Jimin smiled.

"Okay everyone! Grab your bags we're going next door!" The teacher announced as he walked into the class, everyone groaning.

Everyone shuffled their things together and headed next door to the other history room. They did this quite often, where they would gather the classes together to watch a movie together or work on a project together. It gave students an opportunity to "socialise" is what the administration said.

"I didn't know you were in this class!" Jimin turned to see Taehyung talking to a tall brunette.

"Have been since the beginning of the year," He said to Taehyung before turning his attention to Jimin. "Whose this?" He asked.

"Oh! This is Jimin. Jimin, this is-"

"Gather around!" Oh thank god, Jimin thought. He was glad the teacher interrupted them before he could learn the boys name.

The students of both classes gathered around in a large circle. Jimin sat down next to Taehyung while the tall brunette sat on the other side of the circle.

They made eye contact and Jimin's cheeks flushed a light pink.

It was going to be a long hour.

**

"I can't believe you made me be your partner, you have no idea what the hell you're doing!" Jimin yelled at Taehyung as they walked to his grandmothers home.

"That's why I picked you! So I can understand!" The two boys began to laugh. Jimin unlocks the door and opens it wide, the smell of noodles coming from the kitchen. "I'm home!"

Jimin's grandmother emerged from the kitchen. "Jiminie! Taehyungie!" She exclaimed as she brought the two boys into her arms.

Taehyung couldn't help but laugh his Jimin's grandmother. She was a small woman, only a hair shorter than Jimin, her cheeks soft and rosy. "Nice to see you as well Miss. Park." Taehyung chuckled.

After a long hug the two boys were finally able to escape her death grip of a hug. "We're going to go work on our project." Jimin kissed the womans cheeks before running up the stairs with Taehyung behind him.

"We have a week Chim, we don't need to start now!"

"Yes we do, because you're going to forget to do your half and I'll end up having to do it!"

Taehyung sighed, bringing out his notes and pencils. He knew Jimin was right. "Fine. But afterwards we have to watch Spirited Away or I'm not doing anything." Jimin couldn't help but sigh and nod his head.

It was going to be a long ass week.
