Yoongi sighed as he tended to the boys wounds. "Jesus Chim, who did this to you?"

The boy shrugged. "I don't know, I walked into the dome after getting ice and POW! A polo ball straight to the face." Jimin couldn't help but sigh.

When he hit the ground after the harsh hit, his coach ran over in a panic. Probably thinking his best swimmer out for the next few weeks.

Which he was. He was out of the upcoming meet AND he was out if practice for a few weeks.

Jimin was upset, as well as his coach, but there was nothing either of them could do about it besides wait for the swelling to go down in his eye.

"How do you not know who hit you?"

"Well when a polo ball hits you in the face that really isn't the first thing that comes to mind." Jimin replied causing the older to roll his eyes.

"I'm sure whoever it was they were punished. Who thought letting the polo players and the swimmers practice in the same area was a good idea?"

Jimin shrugged. He didn't really care if he was being honest. There was never a problem with them besides the occasional ball in the lane type of situation. But they would always throw it back and get back with their set.

Besides the polo players were eye candy, so Jimin didn't mind the extra touch.

"I'm sure they didn't mean it Yoon,"

Yoongi grumbles as he put away the first aid kit. "Make sure you ice that thing everyday so the swelling can go down a lot quicker. Take ibuprofen as well, it'll help the pain."

Jimin nodded firmly with a smile. "Thank you!" He hugged the older boy as a thank you before skipping out of the bathroom and into his room.

Jimin's room was any other teenagers, decorated to the brim with posters and cute little nick nacks here and there to add to the aesthetic.

His walls were a light blue, his bed was white with pinkish sheets and white pillows. Of course he had his favorite swimmers up on the wall along with his team photos.

He flopped himself onto his bed with a huff and a sigh. "You okay kid?" Yoongi asked as he walked into the room, taking a seat on the bean bag chair that was placed in the middle of the room.

"I'm fine. Just curious as to how the season is going to go this year. If it's going to be anything like last year..." He said trailing off.

"If this is about that boy you had a thing with I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. He left for military school after he punched a kid in the face for not giving him his lunch money. Besides you were young, you didn't know what you were doing."

Jimin nodded. "I don't know Yoon. I'm just worried he's going to show up again at one of my meets. Remember last year?"

"Unfortunately I do. The moment you saw him you fell off of the block and got disqualified. Dumbass should've known how he affected you. I knew I should've-"

"Violence isn't always the answer," Jimin giggled. "That's not all I'm worried about for this year though. My shoulder seems to be getting worse and I don't know how long I'm going to last before I'm in need of surgery."

Yoongi couldn't help but sigh at the thought of Jimin not being able to swim anymore. Every season, since freshmen year, Jimin has talked about his shoulder and his worries and every time he does Yoongi asks the same thing,

"Have you been doing your stretches?" Jimin looked away sheepishly. "Jimin in order for your shoulder to get better you need to do your stretches! It's not going to get any better with you letting it hang their like a detached limb!"

Jimin groaned. "I have been doing them! They don't work!"

"Then go get new stretches! I'm sure the physical therapist has some!" Yoongi argued back, silencing Jimin.

He knew Yoongi was right. He knew he should go back and get new stretches. But he'll give the same excuses as he did last time,

"I don't have the time. I'll just wait it out until the end of the season, get new stretches and then build up that muscle for next season." He reasoned.

Yoongi sighed and decided not to argue back, knowing the boy wasn't going to listen to his words anyway. He looked at the clock before standing. "I'm gonna go, be sure to ice that eye and work that shoulder." Jimin nodded as the older let himself out.

Yoongi was like his older brother/personal nurse. He was there for all his injuries has a kid and was there for him when he needed him the most.

Kind of like an older brother.

Although lately Yoongi has been more on Jimin's ass about the fact that he won't do as the doctor's tell him. Yoongi knew Jimin was lying when he told him he didn't have time to get new stretches. Yoongi knew Jimin thought he was strong enough to stand the pain but little does he know is he's making it worse.

That's why Yoongi is on his ass.

Jimin leaned up in bed, coming face to face with his mirror, wincing at the sight of his eye. It started to turn a light purple around the edges.

Sighing once more he got up from his bed and left for the kitchen with unanswered questions lingering in his mind.

'Who was it that hit me, and why was I the target?'
