Chapter 19

Jimin set down one of the last boxes from the truck and into the room where he'll be staying for quite a while.

He was excited to be living with his best friend, but more upset he left behind a large portion of his childhood. Of course he might've been able to manage the house alone, but he knew that would only last a short period of time.

School and swimming are two of the biggest things in his life, they'll take over before he could even start.

"So," Taehyung says with his hand on Jimin's shoulder, "What do you think? Think you're gonna like it?" He asks.

Jimin shrugged. "It's nice. Thank you again Taehyung, this means a lot."

"You know you're welcome any time here, my family is happy to take you in as one of their own." Jimin turns and wraps his arms around the boy, his head snuggling into his shoulder.

The two sit like that for awhile. Long enough not to notice the new company that had arrived. "Am I interrupting something?"

Jimin looks up from Taehyung's shoulder. "Not at all," He said as he left the hug to join the other. "What do you need?"

Jeongguk rubbed the back of his head. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk, I have something I need to ask you." Jimin's cheeks turned pink at the thought of Jeongguk asking him out or even asking him to be his boyfriend.

He knew it would most likely be the first one, the second one would be moving to fast. I'm sure it's a mutual agreement between the two.

"Yeah, let me grab my shoes and I'll meet you downstairs." Jeongguk nodded before leaving.

Jimin turned around to see Taehyung with a questioning smile. "What's that look for?"

"HE'S GONNA ASK YOU OUT!" Taehyung yells causing Jimin to rush over and put his hand over his mouth.

"Shut the fuck up Taehyung I heard you, the whole world doesn't need to." Taehyung chuckled behind Jimin's hand before removing it.

"Did you see how shy he was?! Jeongguk is usually a shy person but I haven't seen him that way in a while!" Jimin rolled his eyes. 

"We don't know that. Maybe he wants to talk about the weather." Jimin said as he slipped his shoes on one by one.

"Y'all basically made out in your bed and he wants to talk about the weather?"

"How do you-"

"Listen Jimin," Taehyung says with his hand on his shoulder once again. "I know a crush when I see one and that boy down there, is whipped. So go down there, get asked out AND GET A BOYFRIEND."

Taehyung helped Jimin up off the bed and down the stairs, shoving him out of the front door but not without a slap on the butt for encouragement.

Jeongguk couldn't help but laugh at the smaller boy rubbing his butt out of pain from the other. "Damn was that really necessary?"

"Someone had to do it I guess." Jeongguk said causing Jimin's cheeks to turn red.

The two begin their walk around Taehyung's neighborhood. It was kind if like Jimin's old one but a lot...bigger? Some would call it the more wealthier side of Seoul but he believes it to be just like any other part of Seoul.

"What did you want to ask me?" Jimin spoke up with his head turned towards the boy.

Jeongguk stopped walking to face Jimin, who was quite confused if anyone were to ask.

"I've been really enjoying our time together, I enjoyed seeing you at my games and I enjoyed going to your meets. I loved hanging out with you and everyone at your grandma's. I especially enjoyed today with you," Jeongguk stepped forward and grabbed Jimin's hands, holding them softly.

Jimin couldn't keep the smile that was arising down. He had a feeling what was coming next and he couldnt contain himself.

"I was wondering if you would like to go out with me? But not just on one date. I want to continue to go on dates and maybe possibly become boyfriends..? I don't know I just-"

"I would love to go on dates with you Jeongguk, and I would probably love it more if we were boyfriends." Jimin giggled at the shy boy.

Jeongguk smiled. "Can I kiss you?"

"You can kiss me all you want, lover boy."
