For the next few days, Jimin cooped himself up into his room, not seeing any point of leaving. He was depressed, angry, a mix of things. He didn't even fill anything out for the funeral, hasn't planned anything. Taehyung has done most of the work, watched the house and kept the swimmer fed.
Currently he was downstairs packing a few things as he believed it was best to sell the home and have Jimin move in with his family. Jimin didn't say yes, or no. He just looked at Taehyung and shrugged. Not really finding any care in the world at the moment.
Taehyung knew what he was going through, he went through the same thing as well when he lost his own grandmother. That's why he felt such a strong connection with Jimin's, she reminded Taehyung of his own grandma. Same energy and attitude.
As Taehyung taped up one of the last boxes for the day, a knock had sounded through the house. He was confused, he knew he didn't ask anyone to come over and he knew for a fact Jimin didn't do it either. When he opened the door, his heart warmed up to the sight of five boys, all having a small bouquet of flowers in hand.
"What're you guys doing here?" He asked opening the door wider.
"We're here to drop these off and help pack if thats ok?" His new friend Namjoon said. Taehyung smiled and nodded his head, looking over to Jeongguk who seemed to be nonchalantly looking around, possibly looking for Jimin.
"Jimin is in his room, door at the very end of the hall. Knock three times so he'll think its me and open up," Taehyung said with wink as Jeongguk set the flowers down. "Oh and Gguk, hold him tight ok?"
Jeongguk nodded his head. "As if I wasn't going to do that in the first place." Some of the boys laughed, the rest smiled at the sweet comment.
Jeongguk got up towards the door, knocking three times. "Come in." Was faintly said from inside the room.
When he walked into the room, shutting the door silently, he saw a small lump hidden underneath the sheets along with glasses of water sitting on his bedside table. Some empty, some half full.
Jeongguk walked over to the side of the bed, slipping off his shoes and climbing in next to him. "Jimin," he called quietly, after a moment of silence he could hear a quiet sob come from the boy. So he did as Taehyung told him to do,
He brought him into his arms and help him. Held him as tight as he could.
"It's going to be okay, baby."
baby.
It's what made Jimin's sobs a little louder causing Jeongguk to fall into panic mode. "Oh shit did i-" Jimin turned around in his arms to put his head in the crease of Jeongguk's neck. Jeongguk, not knowing what to do next, puts his hand in Jimin's cheek and begins to rub.
It went silent. Jimin's sobs had gone down and the panic in Jeongguk had simmered. Their legs tangled together in the sheets, Jimin's arm around Jeongguk's waist.
"My grandma used to rub my cheek to calm me down," Jimin spoke. Jeongguk removed his hand out of panic, feeling as if he continued he'd trigger something. But to his surprise Jimin grabbed his hand and put it straight back on his face.
"Please don't stop," He whispered. "It makes me happy when you hold me like this." He said. Jeongguk pulled the smaller boy away to get a better look at him.
His eyes were red and puffy, hair disheveled and his face was pale. He hated seeing Jimin like this, it was unusual to not see the vibrant Jimin hiding beneath this sad, depressed one.
"Can you tell me about her? Maybe it'll help you feel better, knowing she is at peace." Jeongguk asked. Jimin's eyes shifted down only to shift back up to Jeongguk a second later.
"She was crazy. That woman had energy like you wouldn't believe. A personality that is one in a million and a laugh that could light up a whole room. She was stubborn, but she never missed out on yoga days," The two boys laughed. "The way she spoke about things that were dear to her would always stick with you. Especially what she said to me the day she passed,"
Jeongguk was intrigued. "What did she say?" He had now moved from Jimin's cheek, to entangling his hand in his hair.
"She told me to keep you close, and look at you, being close." He whispered. Jeongguk looked down at Jimin, smiling before closing the small gap between them.
It was a long, slow moving kiss that the two boys had longed for. It felt right. The feeling of their legs tangled together as Jimin's hand delicately laid on top of Jeongguk's waist while they tasted each other.
It wasn't rushed. It wasn't like they were in a hurry to finish, fearing they would be caught. Because in their minds,
They were the only ones on earth.

Another chapter done :) I'm trying to make up for lost time, as i have gotten busy with work and life in general. I loved this chapter, because to me it showed the effect she had on jimin and the effect Jeongguk has on him now. I really enjoyed their long awaited kissing scene as well :) so i hope you did too.
Thanks for reading!
