"Why don't I take you home?" Jimin offered as it had become later in the night. Jeongguk leaned his head over, that was laying back on the back of the couch, and smiled.
"I would like that." He said, obviously very tired and ready to go home. Jimin smiled and stood from his spot next to him. He held out his hand and hoisted the larger man up.
Jeongguk stumbled as he stood up, Jimin's hand grabbing his forearm to keep him steady. "Maybe walking isn't the best idea, you'll pass out before we even get there." Jeongguk giggled, obviously too out of it to really understand what was going on.
Jimin walked with Jeongguk glued to his hip and grabbed the keys that hung on the hook. "I'll be back Taehyung," Taehyung waved the two off. "Ready?" He asked Jeongguk who held up his thumb the best he could.
The swimmer couldn't help but laugh at him. I think it was the fact that the already cute boy was being much cuter in his sleepy state. Jimin debated whether or not he wanted to keep Jeongguk at his house for the night, but deciding against it due to the fact he had a polo game tomorrow.
He needed his rest in the comfort of his own home.
Jimin helped the sleepy Jeongguk into his car and buckling him up. When leaned over, Jimin couldn't help but turn and look at him, their faces in close proximity. Jeongguk giggled. "You're very cute." Jimin chuckled before leaning out of the car.
"Thank you, but I don't think you're in the right state of mind to make any bold statements." Jeongguk turned in his seat as Jimin buckled up.
"I am in the right state of mind, just like that night we-"
"Jeongguk, you're tired. Just sleep and I'll wake you when we get to your place." Jimin quieted the boy down. Jeongguk huffed back into his seat, leaning back and closing his eyes.
Jimin couldn't help but sigh. What Jeongguk said made him think of that night and that they weren't in the right state of mind. They were in one that could've led to other other things that could've ruined what friendship they had.
He wouldn't call it friendship. More like, friends who possibly have feelings for each other but are scared to admit it.
The last time Jimin confessed his feelings towards a friend of his he dated them for quite awhile. You'd think they got along and loved each other.
Unfortunately, it was the exact opposite.
Freshman year
"What an idiot!"
"Loser!"
"Did you really think he'd like you back?"
Jimin was shaking. The words that were being yelled at him crashing into him. He couldn't think straight, eveything was spinning and the words were getting louder and ricocheting off of the school walls.
The laughs. They got louder as well. Especially, the laugh that came from the boy he loved. The first boy he came out to, the first boy who accepted him.
His boyfriend.
He wasn't able to comprehend what was going on, all he remembers was walking out of class with a smile on his face as he was ready to meet with his boyfriend. It took a turn when he noticed everyone looking at him as he walked down the hallway. They stared. Some giggled and pointed.
When he got to the end of the hall he saw him, but the smile he had on his face wasn't the same smile Jimin had moments ago.
It was evil.
After that moment, all hell broke loose. People knew. People knew Park Jimin, the boy who everyone loved and adored, the boy who everyone could go to,
Was gay.
And his boyfriend, the boy he trusted, revealed it to everyone at the school.
"Fag!"
"Go be gay somewhere else!"
Jimin knew it was over for him. He knew he was no longer accepted here.
"Come on, let's get you out of here." His best friend, Taehyung of course, whispered in his ear as he grabbed his arms and dragged the dazed boy out of the school.
They were half way home when Jimin spoke. "He broke his promise Tae," He sobbed out. "He said he wouldn't tell anyone and he lied." By now tears were streaming down his face.
When they made it to Jimin's home, they sat in the porch for the rest of the day, where Jimin laid in Taehyung's lap and cried.
He cried until he ran out of tears to shed.

"C'mon you big lug, you're gonna have to help me here." Jimin groaned as he attempted to get Jeongguk out of his car.
Jeongguk stretched his arms out, smacking Jimin in the process. "Can't I just stay with you?"
"No, you have a game tomorrow and you need to sleep in your own bed." Jeongguk groaned as he got out of the car and latched his arm around Jimin's neck.
The two boys lugged their way into Jeongguk's home as quietly as they could. Jeongguk points to the door that was down the hall.
When they got into Jeongguk's room, Jimin laid the boy down with a big sigh. "Y'know, you could've helped me drag you inside the house," Jimin said panting.
Jeongguk chuckled. "Sorry," Jimin chuckled as well, waving as he made his way out the door. But before he could leave, Jeongguk called his name,
"Just so you know, I don't need to be in the right state of mind to notice beauty when I see it."
