It was late when Jimin arrived back home. Three in the morning to be exact. While walking around with Jeongguk he didn't think about the time, or the fact he had school tomorrow, he just wanted to be in the presence of the boy.
Jimin opened the door to his new home slowly, quieting down the small dog as it began to growl. As Jimin shut the door, the lights flickered on. "Where the hell have you been?"
He sighed, turning around to an annoyed Taehyung, who might I add, was wearing a robe that only a mother of a teenager would wear.
"I was out with Jeongguk, we weren't paying attention to the time..sorry." It was hard for Jimin to surpress his laughter, as seeing Taehyung standing in front of him with the get-up he was wearing was funny.
Taehyung was quiet for a bit, and with his lips pursed he finally asked, "Did y'all fuc-"
"TAEHYUNG." Jimin whisper yelled seeing had Taehyung's parent's were just upstairs.
"What!? Thought I'd ask." He smirked. "But I'm going to take that as a no.." He said with what looked like a sad face.
"No we didn't," He started, "But he told me he would like to start going on dates, possibly start dating sometime in the future." Jimin couldn't help but smile as his cheeks went pink.
Tonight was probably the happiest he's been the past few days, and it was all thanks to a special boy who decided to steal his heart.
Taehyung rushed over to Jimin and grabbed his forarms. "You have to tell me every detail!" As soon as that sentence left Taehyung's mouth he grabbed Jimin and dragged him up the stairs, where the two boys began to talk about the taller.
As soon as the night started, it ended. The sun began to rise from behind the houses and the birds began to sing. "Time to wake up boys, it's Monday!" Taehyung's mom said as she whipped open the curtains, causing the two to groan out of exhaustion.
They had stayed up for maybe another hour before their eyes couldn't take it anymore. Being up until four then having to wake up at seven really wasn't their norm.
"Why did you have to stay out so late," Taehyung groaned.
"Why did you insist we talk about why I stayed out so late?" Jimin retorted resulting in a slap to the chest by the older.
The two hopped out of bed and began to get ready, Taehyung finally leaving to his designated room while Jimin stayed in his.
He was somewhat excited to get to school this morning despite his exhausted state. It was probably the excitement to see Jeongguk.
He smiled at the thought of last night. After Jeongguk had confessed his feelings towards the smaller, they walked around to the park that was just around the corner, hand in hand. They sat on a pair of swings and talked more before deciding it was time to go a few hours later.
He was happy to be around the taller. Happy he was able to have something special again with someone he trusted. The only thing he could wish for right now is that it doesn't end like the last one, or end at all for that matter.
"Are you ready?" Taehyung yelled from behind the door. "My mom has breakfast waiting for us!"
"Coming!" Jimin said as he slipped on a new pair of underwear and pants, grabbing a shirt a rushing out.
He slipped the shirt on as he sat down at the dining table, a plate of eggs and bacon being placed down in front of him.
"Thanks Mrs. Kim."
"Yeah, thanks mom."
The two dug in. "Don't call me that Jimin, its weird. Just call me mom!" She said as Jimin held his hands up in defense. "So, how's Jeongguk, Jimin?" She asked, Jimin beginning to choke on his food at the sudden question.
"H-He's good. Very good." He said with a smile, pushing away his plate. "I'm going to go finish getting ready. I'll meet you outside Tae." Jimin excused himself from the table and left for upstairs.
"Nice going mom you embarrassed him," Taehyung said as he took a bite of egg.
"I was just curious is all," She said sitting down. "Is there anything special going on between the two? I know there's..chemistry but is it anything?"
Taehyung wiped his mouth and pushed the plate away. "Jeongguk told him he would like to go on dates often, hang out and such. Hopefully they'll end up dating," He sighed. "They better. I can't remember the last time I saw Jimin this excited and in love with a boy. Jeongguk just brings this-this euphoria. It makes Jimin fall for him everytime he sees him. I just hope neither of them fuck this up somehow."
Taehyungs mother slaps her sons arm for the vulger language, but nods her head in agreement.
"Jimin deserves something like this, especially after his grandmother passing and having to move so suddenly." Taehyung nods, the two of them sitting there in silence as they wait for Jimin.
Fortunate for them, their relationship was only beginning. Both happy and excited for what's to come,
It's only the people they'll have to get through to worry about.
