Jeongguk walked into practice the next day with the idea of apologizing to the kid he had hit the day before. Of course that was going to be a problem considering he had no idea who hit but he's sure he can find them pretty quick.

I mean, if a ball came hurdling straight into your face at god knows what speed then I'm sure there's some evidence.

After tossing his bag onto the bleachers and taking off his sweatpants to reveal his speedo, he decided to go over towards the swimmers side of the pool to investigate.

When entering the side he couldn't help but feel out of place and uncomfortable. A few of the swimmers that had stopped at the wall began to stare and give odd looks towards him.

But he carried on.

"Yah Jimin, you should be back home with ice on your eye. That thing looks bad!" Jeongguk's head turns towards the conversation. Could this be the guy I hit?

Sure enough when the talking came closer and they were in eye sight, Jeongguk couldn't help but wince at the sight of his eye, and well who it is.

It was the boy Taehyung was with the other day, and it just so happened the second voice was Taehyung.

"Taehyung!" He called as he quickly walked towards the two boys.

"Jeongguk! I keep forgetting you practice here too," Taehyung chuckled. "I don't think I was able to finish introducing you to my friend, this is Jimin." The smaller boy waved shyly.

"Yeah I think we met already, Jimin I wanted to apologize for hitting you in the eye yesterday." Jimin's eyes widen. Well, the best they could that is.

"You're the one that hit me?" Jeongguk wished he didn't have to agree to that statement, but unfortunately he did.

He was the one who hit Jimin.

"I am, and I am so sorry. I wanted money and my friend bet me I couldn't make it across the pool and I guess you walked in at the wrong time.." Jimin couldn't help but chuckle, causing Jeongguk to become perplexed.

"You aren't mad?" Jimin shook his head.

"I mean I'm in a lot of pain right now," He laughed. "But I forgive you. It was an accident, it would be one thing if you hit me on purpose."

Jeongguk felt a sense of relief. Why? Because the boy he might find cute forgives him for ruining half of his face. Of course Jeongguk didn't mean to hit the poor boy and give him a black eye.

Taehyung clapped his hands to bring the two boys out of their moment of silence before speaking. "Let's go grab a pack of ice and then take our seats Jimin. I'll see you tomorrow for anime, right Gguk?"

Jeongguk nodded his head before bouncing off but not without waving at the two boys. Jimin couldn't help but laugh a little. "He's a cutie."

"I wouldn't go for him Chim, he isn't really one to be in a relationship very long. His longest is three months." Jimin's heart drops a little.

There was some sort of disappointment behind Taehyung's words, but it's not like Jimin was going to go for him right off the bat.

He wants to get to know the boy before they further their friendship.

"Come on, let's go get ice." Taehyung grabs onto Jimin's shoulder and drags him into the break room where Yoongi sat, phone in one hand and a sandwhich in another.

"Hi Yoon, how's work?" The older groaned before taking a bite out of his food. "Going to take that as boring." Jimin chuckled as he grabbed a bag of ice from the freezer.

"You keepin that eye iced?" Yoongi asked tossing the left over sandwhich into the bin and clapping his hands to get rid of the excess crumbs.

"Yeah, that's what we're in here for. Might as well ice it while I wait until coach approves me to swim again." Jimin pouted.

Both Taehyung and Yoongi held a confused look. "What do you mean approve Jimin?" Taehyung asked.

"My coach and I ran into each other at the supermarket, unfortunately he got a good look at it and couldn't help but comment on it. He said I wasn't allowed to swim until it's healed, claiming my goggles will make the swelling and bruising worse with how tight they are." Jimin finished his explanation with a sigh.

He was upset to say the least. Jimin was already out long enough the other day for having an injured shoulder and to now be out for a bruised and beated eye is another. He felt like he couldn't get a break.

"Well then I'm glad he isn't having you swim, we don't want your eye getting worse." Yoongi said as Jimin's pout only increased.

"Don't be upset Chim, you'll be back in the water before you know it." Taehyung smiled as he patted Jimin's back.

Jimin sighed, nodding. "I hope."
