"Take your mark," Jimin clutched the block, holding his breathe. "Go!" His arms squeezed his head as he dove into the water, it was perfect.

As soon as he hit the water he began to dolphin kick, bringing both his arms over his body and pushing himself out of the water. His only focus being the end of the pool where another teammate waited for his turn.

Chants if Jimin's name echoed through the dome they practiced in. His hand slapped the wall and the next person dove in behind him.

"Nice job kid! 15 seconds!" His coach cheered, grabbing his hand and helping him out of the pool.

"It was just 25 meters, nothing special," Jimin chuckled as he stretched out his shoulders, wincing at the sudden pain. "Can I go get ice?" He asked with his hand on his shoulder.

His coach nodded his head as he continued to watch the kid in the water swim backstroke. "Sit out for a bit, I don't want to make it worse."

Jimin nodded before leaving to gather the ice from the break room.

About a year ago Jimin had injured his shoulder during a race, although he still placed second, his shoulder is now permanently injured. He didn't really know what was wrong with it, the physical therapist stated his bones are grinding together, which was causing extreme pain.

There's a way to fix the problem, but Jimin didn't want to risk it. If he gets it fixed he has a high chance of never being able to swim again.

And he didn't want to take that risk.

"You okay Chim?" One of the lifeguards asked as Jimin grabbed an ice pack from the freezer.

"Yeah it's just the shoulder," He said placing the ice on his shoulder with a smile. The lifeguard sighed.

"I'm not going to tell you to get it checked out but that's exactly what I'm telling you." The two laughed, Jimin waving him off as he left back for the dome.

When he walked out of the breakroom he noticed the polo team coming out of the locker rooms, tossing a polo ball here and there.

He watched them laugh and joke around, finding one of the boys to be oddly familiar. 'Isn't that Taehyung's friend?' He thought to himself.

The two boys made eye contact, both of them smiling towards each other to make it less awkward. Jimin couldn't help but look down and notice his jammers being...tighter than usual.

He turned the other direction with pink cheeks. Why does he have to notice those kind of things at the wrong time?

A few minutes pass of the boy standing around before he finally decided to head back into the dome. As soon as he walked in he heard someone laugh before a yell came from the other side of the dome.

But before Jimin could comprehend what was going on, a polo ball came hurdling straight into his face, knocking him flat onto the concrete.

"JEON!" Jeongguk turned his head towards his coach, smoke practically coming out of his ears. He walked over to his coach.

"Yes?" He squeaked although he knew why he called him over. His ass was about to be on a plaque, hanging in his coaches office.

"What the actual hell is wrong with you? You do realize you hit someone don't you?" Jeongguk shook his head with wide eyes.

He thought he was getting in trouble for messing around, he never even thought about the fact that he hit someone...

"Well you did, and I'm sure their coach isn't going to be very happy once he finds out one of my players fucked up some kids face." He snapped. Jeongguk looked down at his feet in shame.

"I apologize sir, it won't happen again."

"You better be sorry because if this happens again, we're gonna have to find a new place to practice," Jeongguk nodded. "I want you to go home for the day, you're going to be too distracted." He nodded once more before leaving to collect his things from the lockers.

As soon as he walked into the locker room his fist came into contact with a locker. He was mad. Infuriated. Disappointed. You name it and he was that.

Jeongguk has never been sent home from practice for goofing off and for him to be sent home for something that might've caused an injury? That's even worse.

"God dammit!" He yelled, throwing his cap off of his head and onto the floor. Jeongguk sat down on the bench with his head in his hands.

He think's the worse part about this is the fact that he doesn't even know who he hit. He could've hit one of the beefy kids and end up getting his ass beat.

Fortunately for Jeongguk that wasn't the case, this time that is.

(UNEDITED)

Hello i said i would update this weekend but i just wanted to give a quick chapter. I kinda like this chapter:)) also the thing with jimins shoulder is what i have, if you care that is. The muscles in the shoulder are loosened enough to the point where its bone on bone. So when you move it the bones will grind together and it hurts like ACTUAL hell.

So yeah a personal experience :))

Thanks for reading!
