"Jimin you're gonna get in trouble!" Taehyung whispered as the smaller boy attempted to unlock the rec center. "Jimin!"

"If you don't keep your mouth shut we will get in trouble, shut up!" He said, the doors opening wide. He held a smile on his face but Taehyung held one of opposite.

"Why are we even doing this? Your coach told you to stay out of the water while your eye healed and what are you doing? The exact opposite!" Jimin rolled his eyes at his friend, deciding to ignore him as they made their way through to the pool.

Jimin inhaled the scent of chlorine, smiling. He felt like he was one of the only ones who enjoyed the smell, everyone else complaining they can't stand themselves smelling like the pool.

"Taehyung if you don't want to be here you're free to leave, I can just call Hobi to come and get me." Jimin said as he stripped himself of this clothes, standing in his dark blue jammers.

Taehyung seemed hesitant for a bit, debating whether or not he wanted to stay or if he wanted to go. But upon much thinking, not so much, he decided to sit himself down on the bleachers next to Jimin's thing's.

"No I'll stay." He mumbled, his hands on his cheeks and his lips pursed. Jimin smiled before strapping his goggles onto his face and diving in.

His eye hurt from his goggles. No correction, throbbed. It hurt like hell and he wished he hadn't caved but he couldn't help but enjoy the feeling of the water.

He felt home I guess you could say.

Jimin reached the other end of the pool, pushing off of the wall to start on the next lap. Let's have a little backstory,

Jimin had just been sitting at home, nothing to do when the bright idea to break into the rec center and get in a few laps came into his mind.

Crazy right? Well not to Jimin apparantly.

He called up Taehyung and invited him to go on an 'adventure' is what he called it. He didn't even tell Tae his plan until they arrived at the pool with a pick and Jimin's things.

Taehyung wasn't surprised though, a little worried yes but not surprised. He knew if Jimin were to get caught he wouldn't be in that much trouble due to Yoongi working there and having complete control of the water sport portion of the rec.

They would only give Yoongi a call at two in the morning, letting him know Jimin decided to break in and take a swim. Yoongi wouldn't mind right? So they carried on.

It's now lap four for Jimin, deciding to take it easy because of his shoulder. It still hurt but not as much as it did a few days ago.

When he comes above water on the side he started on, he notices Taehyung was gone. "Taehyung?" He called.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Jimin's head snapped so fast towards the right you could hear the bones pop.

Shockingly it was Jeongguk.

Jimin lifted his goggles up from his eyes, his bruised eye relaxing due to the constant pressure. "I could ask the same." He replied.

"You shouldn't be swimming, especially with that fucked up eye of yours." Jeongguk responded with a bit of sass.

"Hey you have no right to tell me what to do when you're the one who did this!" Jimin yelled causing Jeongguk to laugh.

He couldn't help but laugh at the poor boy. He was cute.

"You're right, I'm sorry and I'm here to grab my things that I left yesterday," Jeongguk said as he finally answered Jimin's question from earlier. "Why don't you play a game of polo with me?"

"And have another bruised eye? No thanks." Jimin giggled.

"We can just start by tossing the ball back and forth, nothing too forceful."

Jimin contemplates for a bit before deciding to give it a chance. For some reason he had gained trust in Jeongguk after those few words had left his mouth. It was odd.

But not odd enough.

"Fine, but nothing too forceful." Jimin said has he got out of the pool and tossed his goggles onto the pile of clothes.

Jeongguk swiped his finger across his heart. "Cross my heart, hope to die." He smiled and Jimin couldn't help but coo.

While Jimin had walked over to the other side of the pool where the lanes had been taken out, giving them a large area to play, Jeongguk went and grabbed the ball.

Jimin gently slid in as Jeongguk tossed the ball into the water. "Here's how we're gonna do this," Jeongguk said as he jumped into the water himself before coming up to finish. "We're gonna toss the ball around for a bit before we spread out, and throw the ball. Sound good?" Jeongguk held up two thumbs.

Jimin nodded hesitantly before letting go of the wall and swimming more towards Jeongguk. He wasn't used to treading water, he couldn't really stay afloat, but he tried his best.

"Ready Jimbo?"

"Jimbo?" Jimin chuckled a bit, Jeongguk rubs the back of his head.

"Yeah why not?"

Jimin couldn't help but laugh once more before nodding.

"Ready when you are, Gguk."
