A Winters Memory

Chapter Six

The next morning Alec awoke just before the sun rose, he grabbed something from the pantry before heading out into the forest in hopes to see Ara, but little did he know was that she was closer to home than he would ever know.

Waiting for her in their usual spot he began to worry as time passed and still nothing, no sign of her or that she had been there. Sighing he laid back and stared up at the clear blue sky. He figured she would be late, she had probably slept in a little late or was off doing something and would join him soon enough when she was finished.

More time had passed and still nothing, Alec was beginning to grow weary, perhaps she wasn't going to show up this time, maybe she changed her mind and decided that she no longer wanted to see him; rising to his feet he headed back home, disappointment clear on his handsome features.

Back at the cabin, the male members who had joined Paul and the alpha to search for the girl all gathered down in the basement where Paul and the alpha stood before the Ara.

She looked at each one of them, her body trembling with fear. She didn't recognize any of these men nor did she know what they wanted from her or why they had taken her and tied her up. The Alpha squatted down in front of her, grabbing her by the chin and making her look at him he spoke in a harsh tone.

"Tell me this, girl... Has my son bedded you yet?"

Ara forcefully moved her head out of his grip and looked away from him refusing to look at him, annoyed with her action, he grabbed her again this time more forcefully, his grip on her tightening causing her to wince.

"I asked you a question wench!" Ara flinched as his voice boomed, the clear sign of an alpha.

"Has my son bedded you?!"

Ara stared at him with a blank expression. Growing annoyed with her he motioned for Paul to remove the gag from her mouth.

"If you so much as scream, I will snap your neck before that sound leaves those plump lips of yours. Do you understand me?"

Ara looked at each man before turning her gaze back to the Alpha and nodded her head as best she could in his hard grip.

"I will ask you one last time... Has my son bedded you yet?"

Ara blinked and turned to look at the men then back to the alpha.

"Who is your son?" She asked almost too scared to form the question.

Michael chuckled. "You'll find out soon enough. Answer my question."

Ara swallowed hard and shook her head. "No. I've never bedded anyone..."

Michael laughed out completely unconvinced. A girl with her looks most likely had all the men fawning over her and of course she would enjoy such attention, he knew women like her, after all, Alec and Amelia's mother was quite similar.

She loved the attention of men and flaunted it when she could, thinking he would never notice. Chuckling he looked Ara over, his eyes taking in every inch of her naked body; from the curve of her backside to her well-developed chest and how perky they were.

Ara shuddered as she felt the alpha's eyes boring into her, soaking her in.

"I doubt my son hasn't touched you, and if he really hasn't... I know he is writhing in agony to do so."

A smirk formed across his lips as he continued to stare at her.

"Do you know why you're here girl?"

The Alpha looked to Ara as she shook her head. He tilted his head slightly as a smirk formed on his lips.

"Because you met my son, I want you to remember that when the time comes for you to meet him."

Ara's brows furrowed as anger began to fill her. "I don't even know your son!"

Michael laughed. "Oh, but dear, you know him very well..."

Without saying another word, Ara stood up and with enough force, she could muster she rammed her way towards one of the males to push him out of her way so that she could escape only it was to no avail. Paul was on her faster than she could blink.

He gripped her arms tightly forcing her back to her spot. Ara thrashed about in his arms causing the alpha to laugh as he watched her feeble attempts to escape Paul's grasp.

"It's useless child, you will never be able to get out that door. You're stuck here so I suggest you get used to it."

He turned to one of the men behind him.

"Fetch her something to wear, I don't want this thing walking around the cabin flaunting her body to all who would look."

The man nodded his head and hurried off, coming back moments later and handing over a dingy colored fabric to the alpha. The Alpha turned his attention back to Ara tossing the fabric at her face,

"Put that on."

Ara removed the burlap sack from her head and looked it over, her disgust clear on her face. The fabric was rough and made her itch as she slipped it over her body making her shift uncomfortably.

"Get used to it; it's all you'll be wearing from now on. Welcome to your new home, slave..."

Ara's eyes widened at the alpha's words.

"S-slave? Y-you brought me here as your slave because of your son?!" She became outraged.

She was forcefully removed from her home all because this man's son met her? Yet she had no idea who this man or his son was. This was becoming more and more infuriating by the second.

She eyed the alpha with such hate that if looks could kill, he would have been killed a thousand times over. The Alpha laughed out loud,

"Get used to it, girl. You're going to be here until you die from exhaustion or by my hand, whichever comes first but be warned... I do not mistake my act of kindness as a welcoming into my home. You are a slave and nothing but. You will do as you are told and if you make trouble, consequences will be learned, and a punishment will be dealt. The severity of that punishment will depend on you and your cooperation. Am I understood?"

Ara's eyes threw daggers into the Alpha, but he was far from fazed by such a tantrum.

"Gag her once more, let her stew for a while and see what decision she has come to. No food, no water for the rest of the day. We'll see how she handles herself when we come back."

Without saying another word, Ara was bound and gagged before the males all left the room, locking the door behind them before heading to wash themselves off and eat their prepared meals.
