A week had passed since the male wolf had seen the mysterious beauty and yet he found himself often wondering where the young muted beauty could be hiding.
He couldn't help but take interest in her even though she hadn't spoken, there was just something about her that he couldn't take his mind off of. He excused himself from dinner with the rest of his pack and his father and sister before heading off into the woods.
The sudden down pour of rain took him by surprise though he didn't mind it one bit. The scent of rain and wet dirt filled his senses as he ran through the forest, his fur matted down thanks to the rain, his paws hitting puddles sending water and mud flying up and sticking to him though he ran still without so much as a care in the world.
Ara had been resting on a large boulder by the lake when the rain had poured down, smiling to herself she stood up and began to dance around, her arms in the air as she twisted and turned about.
She closed her eyes and lifted her head up, her feet crunching through the wet grass and leaves as they stuck to her feet, mud now coating them as she continued to dance about.
Ara had always enjoyed the rain ever since she was little; it always relaxed her and allowed her to sleep more freely.
The male continued to walk through the forest, no real destination in mind but the soundless forest as his guide, the only noise being the rain.
As if fate had some part to play in their meeting, he found himself staring at the same mysterious beauty from just days ago. He watched in silence as she danced about in the rain.
He smiled enjoying the sight before him before it was rudely interrupted by the nagging feeling of his father calling to him through their link. All wolves had this link to one another in their pack, especially to their alpha.
Heaving a heavy sigh, he turned to walk away when he noticed the beauty staring straight at him with those hypnotizing eyes of hers. He raised his hands slightly
"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt, I was just leaving..."
Ara stared at him in silence, she watched as he turned to walk away when she spoke up;
"You don't have to leave..."
Her voice took the young male by surprise causing him to turn back around with wide eyes.
The sound of her voice sent a chill down his spine; catching him off guard wasn't something that was easily done and yet, here this girl was doing it as easily as breathing.
So, the mysterious beauty wasn't mute after all.
"You can talk, that's good to know..."
He mused as he slowly took a step towards her stopping just a few feet away from her.
The rain had begun to subside, now turning into a light drizzle instead of its earlier downpour. Ara nodded her head slowly in response to his comment before he spoke once more.
"Why didn't you when we first met?"
He stared at her curiously as he awaited her answer;
"You had me thinking you were a mute this whole time."
He took another step closer, this time the distance between them slowly closing and leaving a mere few inches between them. Ara looked away from him for a moment biting down on her bottom lip before returning her gaze back to his
