Years had passed since the death of all those Alec had once loved, and true to her word, Dahlia's curse continued on. Alec had not aged a day since that fateful time when he had lost both Ara and his son. He had become the new Alpha of the pack after killing Michael.
Time seemed to go by slowly in Red Wings. An unknown illness eventually swept through the town consuming lots of its inhabitants and taking some of Alec's pack, but he cared little for them. He had refused to take the position as their Alpha and allowed Paul to stand in his place as he had been Michael's Beta.
Amelia eventually died of old age, she never did bear any children, nor had she found her mate. She died an old woman who hardly left the house. The rest of the pack too eventually passed on into the afterlife and still, Alec remained alive and well unaffected by even the smallest of illnesses.
It was as if this curse too had given him the immunity to withstand just about anything in order to keep him alive in his torment.
