I was honestly really worried. Where could she have gone? "Are you sure you don't know where she is?? I'm going outside to look for her." I told her.
I immediately stopped the call and took out some clothes to put them on. Without my parents noticing, I decided to crawl out the window.
I ran as fast as I could to Areum's house. I tripped on a stone and fell. My knee was bleeding, but I couldn't care less. I kept on running.
"Areum! Open the door! Now!" I said outside one inch from her door. But instead, a random guy opened it instead. Is she actually bring a GUY when Eunbi is clearly missing?
I walked right past him, like he was invisible. I went to the dining room where I saw so much food on the table and a frightened Areum, who was close to crying.
"Hey! Are you gonna get up and look for her instead of sitting here crying??" I asked her. She nodded her head and put on a jacket.
"Bye Seokjin. You can go back to your house." She said to the guy.
He sighed and picked up his stuff that was on the couch. We both ran once he left. "EUNBI!! WHERE ARE YOU??" We repeatedly screamed as loud as we could.
Where would she be?? I sighed and sat down on a bench. We already checked the abandoned hospital, but there was no trace of her.
"What if she... died? With her sketchbook in her hand..." Areum said with a raspy voice. She let a tear slip from her eye.
"Are you that dumb? There's no way Eunbi died. Don't think bad thoughts, you idiot." I told her.
But that still doesn't mean she didn't die. Who was her project partner again... That one guy. I think he's friends with Namjoon. I'll just call him and then Namjoon can call the guy who's Eunbi's partner.
I dug into my pocket. "Areum... I think I lost my phone. It might have fell somewhere." I panicked.
Areum and I began to look everywhere. We retraced our steps and looked under benches, beside bushes, and all around trees. Then, I saw my phone.
Except... It was in someone else's hands.
"Is this yours?" The boy asked.
"Oh! Yes it is. Thank you so much for finding it." I responded to him.
I eagerly took it from his hands. "Oh by the way, I'm Jung Hoseok. Nice to meet you." He introduced himself.
Areum looked confused when she saw the phone in my hand. "Where did you find it?" She questioned me. I told her Hoseok found it.
"Do you know someone named Jungkook?" I asked him.
Areum looked surprised for some reason.
"Yeah, Jeon Jungkook right?" I nodded
"Let me call him." He took out his phone from his pocket. Then, he dialed his number.
We were silent and the only thing that could be heard was the ringing of the phone. Eventually, there wasn't any sound. "He isn't picking up..." Hoseok was frustrated.
"Do you know where he lives?" I asked him.
He nodded and lead us to his house. It was much farther away than I expected. By the time we got there, I felt pain in my legs.
I looked up and saw the giant house. "This is actually Jungkook's house?" I asked, clearly confused.
"His parents are kinda rich but he doesn't want anyone to know." Hoseok answered.
My mouth made an 'o' shape and I watched as Hoseok knocked on the door. After we waited for awhile, the door opened. Revealing an exhausted looking Jungkook.
I immediately grabbed him by his collar and aimed my fist at his face. "WHERE IS EUNBI?! ANSWER ME. NOW!" His face froze after I had said that.
"Hey! Ji Ah... Isn't that a bit to much?! Just let him go. He probably isn't involved with Eunbi's disappearance." Areum told me.
I let go of his collar and put my arms in my pocket. "Eunbi... Sh-She's missing...?" Jungkook looked down at his feet.
Then, when we turned around, we saw him running at the speed of light.
