Chapter 21

1 week later

"C'mon Lissa stop being stubborn!" I groaned while I dragged her through the school corridors.

"You can't force me!"

"Yes I can!"

"No you can't!"

"I will drag you there if I have to!"

"You're already dragging me!"

"Ugh just get your ass in there!"

"No!"

I let go and blew my hair out of my face as I faced her.

"Hmpf, is this your definition of being shy?" 

Yeah that's right, she is shy. Couldn't you tell by her action? Could have fooled me.

"Rae you know I can't face him." She whined.

"First of all, we are just going to go to the cafeteria to sit at their table, it's not like I'm asking you too go and kiss him on the mouth saying you love him. Second, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't face him, Jungkook's a cool dude, just don't act irrational and make a fool out of yourself. Third, he is your crush for fuck's sake, other girls would die to find opportunities for their crush to notice them!" I whisper yelled the last part. I don't really want attention on me. If I'm not already the school topic.

It's been a week since everyone saw me step out of Taehyung's car. And in this week, you would probably think the talk about Taehyung and I are over...

Well You're wrong!

It's been just as good as ever! To the point where I hear them talk about me right in front of my face. 

According to Lissa, the gossip about us are not as bad as they should be. She says all they talk is about the engagement and about how they're so jealous and blah blah.

Although i can hear them talk in front of me, I'm still relieved no one is spreading ridiculous rumors about me. I would say I'm lucky but I know it's because of Taehyung. They're scared of him. They know if rumors go around about me, he would be involved. And who would want to face a scary threatening jerk that would ruin their life? Not me that's for sure.

I also told Lissa about the misunderstanding. She took it...well? I mean it's not what I expected. I thought she would be head over heels for him and confess. No? At least she would try to  grab his attention. That's what you do in front of your crush right?  Well no, all I get is this...

"I'm shy." She quietly mumbles I almost didn't hear what she said. I cringed.

"I know, you kinda mentioned."

Right now we are standing in front of the cafeteria, fighting whether we should go in or not. I suggested that we go and sit with the boys but she won't sit at the same table he is sitting at. I'm kinda pissed because I want to sit with them. Actually, this whole week I've been asking her to join but she won't.

They're actually really fun to hang out with. I noticed that in this week that I've been hanging out with them. Even though being around them means being around Taehyung as well, it's not that bad. I mean it's bad for my feelings but other than that I'm good. But she just won't budge. She is even more stubborn than Taehyung and I. If that is not stubborn then i don't know what is.

A sigh left her lips.

"Raehyun-ah, just because I found out that he actually cared for my best friend, doesn't mean it's a cue for me to make a move on him. Yeah he couldn't do anything about it, he had no choice, he wanted to keep his family happy, he didn't know what would happen. I'm not blaming him anymore. Trust me i don't. but... How could I try to grab the attention of the boy my best friend loved?
