the weekend flashed by. on saturday, [name] had met with dabi at their usual joint and after he left, she went to her usual training place.

other than that, she basically just slept and ate through the past two days. and here she is now, walking to school.

a horde of reporters seemed to block the front gate and [name] curses to herself for not getting up earlier. she's always hated the media, growing up under the spotlight, being watched by the public eye–it was incredibly shitty. she's thankful that her brother was more focused on, since he's the direct heir to the family business but that didn't mean it was easy for her.

god, why did my family have to be so successful? i couldn't have been born to a normal family or anything?

whispering expletives to herself, she does a terrible attempt at hiding her face by lowering her head and slightly covering her eyes behind her hands.

the reporters seemed to be attacking midoriya and iida at the moment but when she started nearing the gates, they started to surround her also. she just prayed that the [last name] family isn't as big a deal as they are in california.

"does the presence of all might in the campus motivate you to excel in your studies?"

"what is all might like as a teacher?"

[name] only coughs as she was being pushed around by the violent crowd. the people begin to move in a different direction to bombard another incoming student with questions. [name] is pushed backward and she uses her hands to draw herself away from the crowd.

"hey, isn't that--"

hearing the unfinished phrase alarmed [name] more than anything else, and she pushes off the reporters pressing on her to run off into the campus before they could ask anything else.

she catches her breath and looks back when she takes enough steps into the gate to be away from the media. two or three cameras were pointed at her and took quick snaps while she was standing. she notices aizawa-sensei walking to the gate to shoo away the reporters and [name] takes this as her cue to leave and run to the classroom.

i hope nothing too big comes up. gah, can ua get any worse?

---

after the media debacle just a few minutes ago, [name] was finally able to sit in the classroom and think. her energy was drained by the whole fiasco at the school gates.

i slept for twelve fucking hours, how the hell did i tire out so quickly?

aizawa walks in, as if just thinking of the word tired was the fastest way to summon him. he announces the activity for today's homeroom which was electing the class representative.

bad idea, sir. we've only known each other for less than a week. how the hell are we supposed to pick who to lead us? most of us will probably just vote for themselves.

he distrubuted the ballots anyway. [name] decides to write down on the paper the only person whose name she's actually remembered this week.

[name] wasn't conceited enough as to vote for herself, and he looks to be a pretty decent dude.

then, the results.

as expected, nearly everyone voted for themselves. two people had zero votes, [name] and iida. todoroki was surprised to see he had one vote, and he looked around trying to figure out who it could've been.

midoriya and yaoyorozu took the lead so they were appointed as class representatives.

the rest of the morning flew by. science, math, english, japanese. of course, the math period consisted of her training with riko-sensei and shinsou, as promised the other day.
