C - bacon, eggs, and pancakes, oh my!

Blinking rapidly, Grayson squinted at his phone, unable to believe his eyes. For the first time in three years, Charlotte texted him. It turns out, she had the same phone number all along.

G - is that a breakfast invitation?

C- Georgia is cooking :) hurry up or I'm eating all the bacon

G - I just woke up. Give me a minute

C- okay grumpy pants

Rolling his eyes, Grayson stretched on the side of his bed and found a pair of shorts and a dry-fit t-shirt to wear for breakfast at the Thorpe's. His head throbbed with an aching headache from staying up too late with Charlotte who turned a little loopy from the jet lag. He thought this headache might also have something to do with the fact that he lay awake for another hour after he got home, mulling over the fact that Andrew didn't know who Cordelia was.

Oddly, what kept him awake was the sense of protectiveness he felt for Cordelia. Having grown up with the Triple Threat his whole life, Grayson viewed all three of the Thorpe sisters like his own family. Both Cordelia's disappearance and the mystery behind it spurred Grayson to believe that something bad might have happened to her. Something so bad that the Thorpes weren't willing to talk about it.

There he went again. Before his feet even touched the ground, he was already trying to discover the mystery behind Cordelia.

Was it even his business? Not really. But he couldn't help himself.

The only other person on the entire island that understood the Thorpes perhaps better than himself was his mother. And there was no way he was informing his mother of the fact that Georgia's fiancé didn't know who Cordelia was. Grayson also didn't want to abuse the Thorpe's privacy. However, he had a feeling he wouldn't be the only person curious about Cordelia's disappearance in the wake of Georgia's upcoming nuptials.

Avoiding his mother on the way out, Grayson crossed the street and welcomed himself into the Thorpe household like old times. Indeed, as soon as he stepped inside, he smelled sizzling bacon amongst other delicious breakfast scents. Dumping his shoes at the door, Grayson quietly entered their abode, heading straight for the kitchen. At the stove, Georgia stood beside her Fiancé who was stirring scrambled eggs inside a stainless steel pan while Georgia expertly flipped browning pancakes.

"Good morning, Grayson," Georgia sang from her spot beside her fiancé. She leaned into his side while he put his arm around her. Though Georgia held a few steady relationships before in her life, Grayson had never seen her so Lovey-dovey.

Charlotte launched off of the stool on which she perched and ran over to him. She snuggly wrapped her arm through his elbow and dragged him into the kitchen behind the massive island. "Coffee or tea?" She asked.
