Chapter 18: Birthday WHAT?

"He loves you Lex." she said quietly giving me a weak smile. Did he seriously LOVE me or was that just a figure of speech? "I'm just gonna get some sleep letting all that sink in." I said getting under the covers. She giggled, "Sweet dreams Brooks."

I woke up to myself sneezing in bed. Sighing I got up and walked towards the door Mahogany left open. That's kind of creepy tbh someone could have just been watching me sleep, or a crazed fan could of snuck onto this floor and kidnapped me. I heard the sounds of laughter and screams coming from the room I think was Nash's, so I opened it to see everyone on the bed. Matt was just smack-cammed on the face. Typical. "Someone's awake." Mahogany smirked to me standing in the doorway. "You know you left the door open, I could have been kidnapped by a physco." I said climbing over Gilinsky on the bed to plug my phone in. "Yeah yeah, that'd be good for you." she said.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I let out an awkward breathless laugh. "Nothing. I'm really tired, and when I'm tired I say some random shit." she said standing up a little wobbly with her eyes wide open and goofy grin on her face. I looked at the guys narrowing my eyes, "Is she drunk?" They laughed at my question. "No, but she sure is acting like it." Nash said picking at the white comforter on the bed. "I'm gonna go to um.." she gulped weakly pointing to the door stumbling her way over. "To bed?" Shawn asked. "Yeah.." she said sleepily before almost walking into the door frame and then dissapearing into the hallway. "Wow." I mouthed out, the guys nodded in agreement.

"So tomorrow Lex, you have to go to the event early." Aaron said standing up and getting a water bottle. "Oh yeah for what?" I asked confused leaning back on the pillows. "Bart needs you for something." he shrugged. "Oh." I said quietly zoning out ahead of me at the wall. I knew the guys were looking at me weirdly since I'm not my usual self today, but it was only because I was in deep thought. "Hey can I ask you guys something?" I asked finally once they've all gotten off the bed. "Yeah what is it?" Taylor asked. "What ever happened to...I don't know, that Madison Beer?" I asked kind of quietly looking down at my hands. The guys chuckled for some reason that I do not know of.

"We don't talk that much anymore. But she was alright." Cameron said. "Are you kidding? She was pretty cool." Gilinsky fought back. "Pretty slutty." Carter said under his breath. I heard him and held in a laugh smiling at him. "Why'd you ask?" Nash looked at me. "Oh I was just wondering..." I trailed off. Yeah, that's not 100% true. Yes there were rumors about her sending "explict" (I'm not gonna say the word nude in my story haha) photos to the guys, but she's also been seen with Cameron and I knew for a fact people DID NOT like that. And honestly, if anything ever happened between Cam and I - I'd probably get death threats and pineapples thrown at me on stage. - because they're spiky ;)

"So Cam, what are we doing for your birthday?" Sam broke the silence. "Uh I don't know..." "Pft - come on you have to at least want to go out to dinner or something." I said leaning forward over my knees slightly bent on the bed. "Yeah we could do that." he chuckled. "I'm gonna go see if Mahogany made it to her bed alright." I said rolling my eyes walking towards the door. "Wait!" I heard Matt call for me. "Hm?" I turned back around. "I'm coming with you." he smirked before walking out the door in front of me. I furrowed my brows not knowing why he wanted to come but okay then. Mahogany was snoring in her bed laying on her stomach. Just like the first night...

"Why'd you want to come?" I asked following him onto the balcony. "I want to talk about something with you." he said resting his elbows on the railing. "Okay...shoot." I said doing the same. "You like Cameron don't you?" he looked over at me with a goofy little grin smacked across his face. I looked down blushing with the wind blowing little strands on my hair onto my cheek. He chuckled a little turning back to the city. "Lex, if you do why not ask him out?" "Because I'm the girl, and I think that'd be weird. Plus I don't even think he likes me back." He went to open his mouth to speak but I stopped him by continuing. "And the age difference Matt. He'll be twenty tomorrow and I'll still be seventeen until February." I sighed.

"That age difference is fine." "Yeah if we were just normal people. We have the whole world watching our every move." I said rolling my eyes. "Yeah that does kinda suck." he said looking down at the people walking the streets. "Changing the subject...I have no idea what to get him for his birthday." I sighed. "Whenever there's a birthday during the event we usually do some stuff for it on stage, and then go out to eat. But you can get him something if you'd like." he shrugged. It was a little chilly outside so I suggested we head back in.

The sound of Matt's finger tapping the table was the only thing I could hear while I sat on the sofa resting my chin in my hand. My brain raced of ideas for Cameron's birthday, we couldn't do a surprise party or anything considering we aren't home. Everything that came to mind sucked. "I GOT IT!" I said excitedly popping up from the couch. Mahogany shook awake from my loud disturbance. "Wait...never mind." I scrunched up my face flopping on my bed. "How long have I been asleep?" she asked streching. "About an hour." Matt said checking looking at his wrist even though there was no watch...

I giggled at him. "I'm gonna get a quick shower." I said walking towards the bathroom. Stripping off my clothes, I stepped into the glass shower with the perfect temperature of water cascading down my body. I just wanted all my stress to wash away. - Once I finished in the shower, I stopped the water stepping out with a towel wrapped around myself in the cold bathroom. The mirror was foggy from the steam that had filled the room. I sighed picking up my clothes and getting dressed again. My light green eyes was all I focused on as I leaned over the counter.

I never realized that they were just a green verison of Nash's. And then it struck me... Cameron's present. "I have the best idea for Cameron tomorrow!" I exclaimed walking out of the bathroom and standing against the wall. "What? Birthday sex?" Mahogany asked scrolling through her phone on the edge of my bed. Matt laughed uncontrollably falling out of the chair as I widened my eyes looking at her. "No!" I raised my voice walking over to put my shoes back on. "Oh, then what?" she giggled. "Nevermind, what you just said ruined the idea." I sighed tying up my shoe-laces.

"Why don't you just go along with whatever we're doing for him? I assure you, he'll still like you." Matt smirked at me in a teasing way. I narrowed my eyes, "Ha-ha." I said sarcastically. "Yeah seriously, Lex...don't stress about it. But hey, my suggestion would relieve stress." she wiggled her eyebrows. "Mahogany, you're one dirty minded teen." I laughed.

I'M SOO SORRY THIS CHAPTER FREAKING SUCKS, AND IT'S WAAAY TOO SHORT...I MEAN I USUALLY WRITE UP TO LIKE 3 , 4 THOUSAND WORDS AND THIS A PATHETIC ONE THOUSAND SOMETHING CHAPTER.

I'm sorryy:( But I promise the next one will be more interesting. Unless I said that last time, then I've failed miserably.
