Chapter 26: school & shit

"LEXEE!" My name being screamed woke me up from a deep sleep as i tumbled off the sofa.

"God Heidi, what the fuc-"

"Madison is with Cameron!"

My eyes widened as i lay still on the floor from falling off the couch.

"What's happening?" I asked sitting up as heidi handed me her phone.

It was a picture of Cam and Madison with a fan. No big deal ... its just that cam was shirtless.

"Maybe they went for a swim?" Heidi asked frantically following me into bathroom as i began to brush my teeth.

"Madison is not wearing a bathing suit." I shook my head as i tried to speak with a mouth full of minty toothpaste.

"She probably just changed or something!"

I sighed flopping onto my back on my bed, "I'm overreacting, arent I?"

"Not really, why dont you just text Cam or something?" I looked Heidi straight in the eyes as i felt my heart beating out of my chest.

I guess it's just because I care so much about him. Who was the one that introduced me to all the guys? Who helped me through the night I broke down in Las Vegas, who got protective when Gilinsky was a tad bit drunk and tried to pull me away from him?

Cameron. It was always him, he saved me multiple times.

"Lex." Heidi snapped her fingers in my face to wake me from my thoughts.

"Ugh..I'll just let him be. I dont want to sound like an over protective girlfriend, if you know what I mean.."

It was about an hour later from when Madison posted that picture with cameron and a fan on twitter.

I was editing a youtube video while listening to music on shuffle as heidi took a shower.

WildLife by Jack and Jack came on making me smile as i tried to finish up the editing, who knew it would take so long to perfect every video you uploaded?

Vibrating from my phone overthrew the music causing me to look down, it was my mom calling me.

"helllooo?"

"hi lexee, how're you doing?"

"pretty good, how about you and dad?"

"we're fine, coming home tonight though, hey i got a call from your principal saying there are still some papers we need to pick up about you leaving public school and i was wondering you could get them sometime today?" my mom asked on the other line.

i sighed, "yeah sure."

"thank you sweetie, i'll call you later. love you."

"love you too, mom"

i hung up the phone and threw it behind me on my bed, hearing the thud against my headboard.

i cringed at the sound and turned around to see if my phone was damaged. luckily it wasnt.

all of a sudden i heard strange loud noises coming from my bathroom. i furrowed my eyesbrows and set my laptop on my white comforter, heading towards the bathroom door.

"heidi?" i knocked lightly on the door since the water had stopped running.

"COME INNNN!"

i opened the door to see heidi's right leg up on the counter as she applied lotion to her skin, "what just sounded like a dying whale?"
