Your sweetness was my delicacy,
My favourite flavour of bittersweet remedy;
Like we were the milk and honey of every morning of January,
That tasted satisfyingly appealing from the taste buds of yours and mine.On sunrise, we were delicious!
Reluctant to be showy but yes, we were delicate.
We kissed in our most sugary lips,
And hugged in our warmest embrace.
That, my darling, was a moment of goodness gracious!But any sweets can ache our teeth,
Forming lacunae on every surface of our dentin.
I was worried we cannot fix these holes,
Which almost burried ourselves with all of those lost hopes.Remember how we redefined ourselves?
You were daffodils and I was dandelion,
But you were more bloomy that I was so yellow;
And it was that moment I realized you were the one most precious.Then the sun burnishes its most light!
Rationalizations turned to realizations;
Happiness healed my hesitations,
And then shut off all of my inhibitions.
To me, my darling, you are my everyday surprise!You are my truth, my fantasy, and reality.
Our love shall glory against all oddities;
And like my memory of our lovestory,
We are the milk and honey of every morning of January.
