Today someone smiled at me.
I don't know her name and neither has she known me.
But everything seemed to be a mystery,
When her enthusiasm radiated rays of optimism
And her laughs are made of contagious vibrations.
Today I met someone I haven't seen for a long time.
He hasn't looked much old and still talked with winds within words.
He faced me while his sight was locked on my background.
After which, he left me with words of wisdom in his mind.
Today someone needed my service.
I was there — listening and feeling,
Thinking the meaning hiding in his stories;
But little did he know that he missed his own riddle,
He forgot his worth as a precious human being.
Today I finally met myself.
I did not almost recognize my features and problems.
Too sad that I am still struggling for all of my dreams;
Too happy I am still finding love working on it;
And too excited for exploring my days ahead.
