Chapter 9

Selina stands at the entrance of the school and waits for Bruce. She sees Alfred pull up. She walks over and sees him.
"Hey Alfred" she says. He turns to her.
"Miss Kyle I'm assuming your coming over" he says. Selina nods.
"Yeah me and Bruce have some studying to do" she says. He nods.
"And What are all of these book" he says pointing to the books in her arms.
"Oh just some books to study" she says. He smiles.
"Hey" Bruce says walking up to them.
"Sorry I'm late got caught up with my science teacher" he says.
"It's fine" Selina says.
"Shall we go Master Bruce" Alfred asks.
"Yes please alfred... let me help you" Bruce says talking some of the books from Selina's arms. Selina breathes out and takes her bag off and gets in the car after Bruce.

Bruce and Selina sit in his study. Bruce is sitting at his desk doing some work. While Selina is sitting in the couch reading one of her many books. She hears Bruce groan. She turns and looks at him.
"You ok" she asks.
"Yeah it's just this stupid science question" he says. Selina stands up and walks over to him. She looks at the question.
"Ok the plants cells that can develop into any tissue are called the meristems" she says. Bruce looks at her. She looks at him.
"Well if looks like you are better at science then I am" he says. She laughs.
"It really does" Selina says.
"So how's the reading going" he says.
"Good do you know that cats have 230 bones in their bodies while we only have 206" she says.
"No I didn't" he says. She smirks.
"So your really enjoying it" he says.
"Yeah it's interesting I just don't want people to think that because I want to be a vet that I'm a nerd or something" she says.
"Their not because you are a badass who jumps roofs and owns a fourth of the sirens club. I don't think anyone else is like you" he says. She smiles at him.
"Thanks" she says. He smiles at her.
"Why don't we go to town and do some roof hopping and then get some pizza" he says. She smirks.
"Sure" she says getting up.

"Ok Alfred can you pick us up in 2 hours outside of the pizza place" he says. Alfred nods.
"Yes Master Bruce" he says.
"Thank you" Bruce says before getting out of the car and sees Selina standing. He closes the door and looks at her.
"Ok let's get going" he says.
Selina and Bruce walk a few minutes before getting on top of one of the buildings.
"Ok the first one who gets to that building over there doesn't have to pay for the pizza" she says. Bruce nods.
"Your on" he says. They both laugh.
"Ok 1... 2... 3" she says and they both start running. They both jump onto the next building. Selina is ahead. They both jump onto the next building. Bruce and Selina are next to each other and they both jump. Bruce touches the ground but Selina had already landed.
"Looks like your paying B" she says. Bruce nods.
"Looks like I am" he says standing up. She smirks at him. They are close. They move their heads forward before Selina turns her head away.
"Let's go get some pizza" she says walking away. Bruce follows behind her.

Selina and Bruce walk out of the pizza place with pizza in their hands.
"So your serious about being a vet you only have next year left to pick your grades up" he says. She laughs.
"I'll be fine I will study my ass off like you who is going to study his ass off for law" he says. He nods.
"Yeah I will" he says. She smiles.
"So you been talking to any boys lately" he asks.
"Yeah you" she says.
"No I mean like others boys who you might want to go out with" he asks. She laughs.
"Like any of the boys in our school are right enough. I don't need a boyfriend right now. I don't like any boy that way" she says. Bruce nods slowly.
"You ok" she asks looking at him.
"Yeah just my arm a little sore" he says. She laughs.
"Suck it up B" she says. He laughs. They see Alfred pull up and get out of the car.
"Master Bruce. We must get going we'll drop off Miss Kyle" he says.
"Ok Alfred" he says. Selina gets into the car.
"Can you drop her off at the Sirens club please Alfred" he asks.
"Yes Master Bruce" he says. Bruce gets into the car.

Alfred stops in front of the sirens club.
"Here we are Miss Kyle" he says.
"Thank you Alfred" she says grabbing her bag. Bruce opens the door for her and she gets out. Bruce grabs her books and hands them to her.
"I will see her tomorrow" he says.
"Yeah goodnight B" she says kissing his cheek before turning and walking to the club.
"Goodnight" Bruce whispers before getting back into the car.
