Chapter 44

Today was the first day of senior year of high school for Bruce, Selina and the rest of the group. Though at the moment they where all not really talking. Jacob and Vanessa where in the middle as they didn't know what to do and Liam was confused about the whole situation just wanting everyone to makeup. Bruce was the same. Though both of them didn't know how to. Regardless they decided to give the girls a few weeks to cool off and decide where to go next.

Selina finishes fixing her hair in the mirror. She stands and looks at herself in the mirror. She sighs and looks down. She feels 2 arms wrap around her and she leans back into Bruce's embrace.
"How do feel" he asks.
"Like shit" she says closing her eyes.
"Just give amber a few days to cool off. She'll come around" he says. Selina nods.
"We better go. We don't want to be late" he says giving her a kiss on the cheek before moving away to the bed and grabbing their bags. Selina nods as he leaves and turns as he picks up their bags. He hands her bag over and she takes it from his hand. She swings it around her shoulder before taking bruces extended hand that was out to her and they walk out.

They enter the school and they see everyone hugging each other or talking at their lockers. Everyone would smile at the couple who where holding hands and then would return to their conversations on what they did over the summer. Bruce and Selina reach selinas locker. She opens her bag and puts some books in. She sighs as she sees a photo of her and Amber on the side of her locker. Bruce sees her looking at it and puts his arm around her shoulder. He leans into her and leans into her ear. "Everything is going to be fine soon. In a few days. She'll get over it and everything will be fine" he says. she nods. He kisses her head and wraps his arms around her. She breathes into his chest.

"Hey" they hear a voice say. They turn and see Jacob and Vanessa holding hands and looking at the other couple. "We heard what happened" Vanessa says. Bruce and Selina nods. "Just give her a while she'll get over it" Jacob says. "Yeah everyone keeps telling me that" Selina says before closing her locker. Bruce sighs before wrapping his arms around her again. "I know but its true. Don't get down about it. All it takes is time" Vanessa nods. Selina just groans. "We better get going to the hall the assembly is going to start soon" Jacobs says. All of them nod before walking to the hall for the opening assembly.

They walk into the hall and see all of the seniors sitting down in their chairs. The group find some seats and sit down. As Selina goes to sit down she sees Amber and Liam entering the hall. Selina looks down before sitting down. Bruce looks back and looks at the couple. Ambeer grabs Liam's hand and drags him over to the other side of the hall. Liam looks at bruce and gives him the looks of 'I'm sorry' Bruce turns and looks at Selina. He grabs her hand and gives her a small smile. She looks at him giving him a smile as well before he brings her hand up to his mouth and kisses it.

The principle comes out and everyone goes silent. The principle stands for a few moments before speaking. "Welcome back to school. And to your finale year here and Gotham High. I know a lot of you are probably excited about that. I wanted to address what happened on the last day of school all those months ago. I just wanted to tell you on words from Commissioner James Gordon. That there is no threat to the school. The threat has been dealt with and that things can go back to normal. There is no reason to worry" the principle says. Everyone stands to whisper to each other and Selina just grips onto bruces hand tighter. "Quiet everyone" he shouts. Everyone turns and looks back at him. "Now I know that what happened has effected some of you quiet a lot but as it has been says there is no threat. Now I want to go over some things about this year. I want you all to be studying for your exams at the end of the year. These exams are going to shape your future so don't be throwing that away for anything like relationships, drugs, alcohol etc." he says. Everyone stares at him. "On that note I hope you all have a great year. Work hard and you will have a good future" he says. The teachers start to clap which everyone starts to join in to. Bruce looks at Selina and smiles. Thinking about his future. But not his future. Their future. Selina looks at him with a questionable look. "What" she asks. Bruce grabs her waist and kisses her. She is shocked for a moment before kissing back. Bruce and Selina pull back and look at each other and smile.

Bruce and Selina run past the students who are falling out of the hall and into the corridors f the school. Bruce and Selina run down to the hall and into the janitors closet. Bruce locks it before kissing her again. He picks her up and puts her up against the wall. Selina laughs. "Remember when we where in here last year. You remember how far we went last time" Bruce says. Selina nods. "Do you want to go further" he asks. She chuckles before starting to tug at the end of his shirt. He smiles before removing It over his head. she laughs before taking her shirt off and kissing him again. Bruce kisses her shoulder and shucking on it. She gives out a moan. Bruce pulls away and looks at her. "Your going to need to be quiet" he says. She nods before he takes off her jeans. He takes everything else off of her and himself before he lines himself up to her. "Ready" he whispers. She nods before he enters her.
