When dawn comes, Alia's eyes fluttered open and groaned groggily as the light shone down on her face from the nearby window. She soon notices Sansa, Pycelle and Shae stood around her bedside looking at her with worried eyes.

"Ali, thank the Gods you are awake. What on earth were you thinking about trying to kill yourself for?" Grand Maester Pycelle pesters, fulling out a tube from her arm making her squirm uncomfortably.

Kill herself? She thought, arching her eyebrow at the old man before shaking her head.

"What are you talking about? I took essence of Nightshade to help me sleep, not kill myself Grand Maester." She mumbles, sitting up and reaching for Sansa's hand as she stood there tearfully, clearly shaken about what occurred.

Pycelle looks at Alia sceptically and folds his arms over his chest, looking down at the woman. "You do know any more than three drops of the stuff can be dangerous?"

"Yes that's why I only took three. I was rather upset to be honest and couldn't sleep. Then I remembered finding some in this room, can't remember where I got it from or if anyone gave it to me but it clearly wasn't the best if it nearly killed me." She stated matter of factly, trying to figure out herself where the small bottle came from.

"Very well," the Grand Maester mumbles, grabbing a coin that Sansa handed over to him for his assistance. "I will leave you to rest. I also tended to the scar on your face, after the Hounds beating you got I am surprised it didn't split open as much as it did. You're quite lucky to be alive."

With that, the old man waddled out of her chambers leaving the three girls together.

"I am sorry to hear about Stripe Alia, he was a wonderful horse." Sansa whispered, gently tucking some her behind Alia's ears to which she smiled sadly and gave a slight shrug. "I should have seen it coming. Can't get just get away with a beating but if its to save you Sansa then I do not mind." She reassured, sitting up properly on her bed, a small wince escaping her lips as her bones started to ache.

"Forgive me Alianora, but if you are no longer a Knight and they took your weapons, how else are you going to protect Sansa?" Shae asked inquisitive as she walks round the other side of the bed and began to braid Alia hair neatly.

The though did occur to Alia as to how she would protect Sansa from dangers but she is a smart woman, she is cunning and can get a weapon if needed.

"We'll see."

Fast forwarding a few weeks, Alia's health was finally perfect again and she was now officially a Handmaiden to Sansa alongside with Shae.

It was also the day where the beautiful Princess Myrcella was to be shipped away to Dorne apparently to wed a someone form Hose Martell. She was out of the loop with what was happening in Kings Landing since she was trapped in her room for weeks but she was finally happy to be out, feeling the fresh hot air on her face but she did feel uncomfortable with the stares she received. Yes the bruises and cuts on her face had now faded but the life long scar on her face was now visible for everyone to see since she was forced not to wear her mask. Also, the dresses she wore were slightly more revealing than to what she was used to wearing but again, her armour and cloak are long gone and most likely never to be seen again.

Crowds had gathered and the sun was shining bright as everyone gathered to watch Myrcella's departure for her new home and the tension in the air was thick. It was thick between Queen Regent Cersei and Tyrion, it was thick between Sansa And Joffrey and as Alia's eyes scanned the surroundings, her eyes fell on Sandor making the tension in the air extra thick.
