They rest at nightfall for a while, Alia trying to nurse Thoros back to health whilst her brother strapped up her ankle in the process for better support on it."You're too kind m'lady." Thoros smiles as she dabs at his cuts with a small cloth whilst Jorah heated up a flask over the small firepit they created for which Thoros can keep under his clothes to keep his strength up. "I'm just doing what any other decent person would." She said quietly, focusing on the task at hand.
The night went quick despite everyone having a restless sleep but the dead was waiting for them and it was only a matter of time until they come across a group of them at least.
Alia hobbled along with Archie, her arm linked through his for extra support but she couldn't help but feel useless within herself that she had to go and get herself injured. She noticed the group slow down for her slightly although they denied that they had but she knew. Sandor was a fairly fast walker and it seemed that he lingered around her more often, always checking on her.
Sandor walked up beside Alia and Archie, coughing slightly to get their attention.
Archie glanced over at Sandor, no expression on his face whilst Alia smiled at him lightly, tilting her head to the side. "You ok?"
"I was wondering if I could talk to you privately." He muttered, not really asking, more telling Archie to beat it.
Alia felt Archie tense up but he nodded and unlinked his arm, shooting her a short smile before jogging up beside Tormund.
Sandor immediately let her balance on his arm, linking her small arm through his large one as they both walked alongside one another.
"What is it?" She asked, keeping her eyes on the trail ahead of them.
"Nothin', just wanted to walk with you."
Shocked at his strange yet very sweet answer, her mouth opened slightly but she just stifled a small laugh and nodded. "Fair enough."
They walked in silence for a while, not particularly awkward but not comfortable either. It might have been her ankle making it uncomfortable.
"I heard Brienne had killed you." She finally spoke, looking up at him to see his reaction. She could tell that he was embarrassed that he was almost killed by a girl but he argued it was because he barely had any food and didn't have the normal amount of strength he usually had to kill her.
"I heard snow killed you." He retorts, earning a small shove his way but he noticed the smirk on her lips, finding it slightly amusing. "Aye, I appeared to have froze to death. But, I was lucky that I made it just in time to the Wall."
Sandor watched her with gleaming eyes, so very, very happy that he was with her again. He wouldn't admit it but he was sweet on her hugely and loved her effortlessly. He just hoped he still loved her.
"I want to say sorry. Properly this time... about lying about your brother. Even if he is a twat."
Alia rolled her blue eyes, looking at him disapprovingly. "He wouldn't be a twat towards you if you didn't lie to me Sandor. Before we met our father, it was only us two. He was the only family I had. Well, my real family anyway."
Sandor sensed her cold tone but he understood where it came from. He just didn't want to lose her. Even if she did annoy him.
"Suppose so... but, I am sorry. I did it for my own selfish reasons."
"Which were what?" She stopped abruptly, making him stop too to look at her in the face, wanting to know exactly what thought process went through his head.
