A/N Hello! It has been a while! How are we all? I hope you are doing well and as you can see, I have changed the name and cover photo to this story to which I hope you all like!
I have also been able to finally put this story up for the Wattys2019! Which is insane!
Also, if you follow me on Instagram at my official account of all things me @ImogenAlanah or my Game of Thrones Account @cleagnexsandor I would love to see any fanart if yous would like to that is. I would love to see your portrayal or Alianora and how you see her or even any fanart of herself and Sandor together would be pretty sweet.
Anyway, I am finally back at writing and I hope you enjoy this chapter. All the best. <3
"You really going to die for some chickens?"
".... Someone is."
Tired and on empty stomachs, Arya and Sandor had come across an inn with plenty of noise coming from the inside. They had behind some bushes, scouting the place out after seeing five horses meaning five men or more and Sandor had contemplated killing the men for himself and Arya for food but Arya had spotted a bald man, remembering him as Polliver who had took herself, Gendry and Hotpie to Harrenhal but not before he had killed her friend, Lommy. He had stolen Needle, her sword and once she had explained this to Sandor he scoffed and referred to anyone who named their swords as 'cunts'.
They had been without Alia for around a month. They had not stopped travelling and would only stop to rest for the night but Sandor would literally drag Arya to her feet and force to keep on travelling. They argued everyday which made them miss Alia even more. She was always there to keep them both at a distance from one another and always intervened during conflicting conversations between the two. Arya had still not forgiven Sandor for what he has done, always saying his name and the rest of her list at night before she drifted off to sleep but he didn't think much of it. Since Alia was dead, he just wanted to get rid of Arya as soon as possible and take her to the Eyrie so he can get his gold and fuck off some where else.
Upon entering the inn, they were met with more Lannister soldiers as well as the owner of the inn and his daughter to which she was being inappropriately touched by the disgusting men.
The Hound ushered Arya to the back of the room once she had practically run inside, wanting revenge for Lommy as well as her sword that Jon had gifted her more than a year ago now, and both sat next to each other, looking very awkward.
Polliver had noticed The Hound and had demanded more Ale to be brought to Sandor and referred to his relationship with the young girl, clearly not remembering who she was and had called her a little chicken and that the men would have a pass at her for food. Unnerved by his offer, Sandor bit his lip hard, finally cracking at Polliver's words who kept commenting on Sandor's actions for him leaving Kings Landing during the battle of the Blackwater and the comment about Arya triggered him enough that he downed a full tankard of ale and smirked.
Reaching for their swords simultaneously, Sandor lifted the table in front of him, throwing Polliver to the other side of the room before striking down the rest of the Lannister's. They all attempted to strike at Sandor, failing miserably until one man had managed to get him on the ground, a blade to Sandor's neck as one of Sandor's hands wrapped around the Lannister's neck, struggling. Arya watched with wide eyes, not really sure if she should help or not but then watched as Sandor's large hand slide up the mans face, taking a firm grip before repeatedly impaling his eye socket onto the blade that was at his neck.
Arya took this as her chance to run over to Polliver's body, retrieving her blade from him as he rolled onto his back, staring up at the young girl who aimed her blade directly at his throat.
