Alia walked beside Anguy, the archer, as he made his way over to Sandor to put him in a cart to help with travelling."You don't need to tie him up y'know? He won't do anything."
Anguy looked at Alia with a small smile on his lips as they both walked with their bows equipped and it surprised him how much she was sticking up for him whereas most people would want him killed for good.
"I wish I could agree M'lady..." He mutters as he kicks Sandor's leg whilst he was slightly snoozing after being tied up for a few hours. "But he's a killer and we don't take kindly to killers."
Alia slowly nodded, not wanting to get into a heated discussion and watched as Sandor jolted awake, looking everywhere before his eyes landed on Alia and let out a loud sigh.
"Why isn't she tied up? She's just as wanted as I am." Sandor moans as he is dragged to his feet and pushed towards a small wagon which is just about big enough to fit him inside.
"A friend of Thoros is a friend of ours. She's a good Knight... well, until that title was ripped away from her." Anguy retaliates, defending Alia who gives a small smile and then a mischievous smirk towards Sandor as he walked with his arms and hands tied behind his back.
"You aren't going to kill him, are you?" A few of the brotherhood men dragged Sandor along leaving Alia and Anguy to themselves to which he shrugged. "That's not up to me. That's up to the Lord of Light. The god we serve."
"The Lord of who?" Alia asks, completely confused about this God she hasn't heard of. She old new the old and the new Gods from what Maester Luwin and Septa Mordane had taught her and Archie when they were young... guessing that they never believed in this Lord of Light.
"Light. R'hllor. The one true God according to Beric Dondarrion."
Beric Dondarrion.
Alia's heart fluttered by the sound of his name and almost went in a complete daydream just thinking about him.
"Beric? Is he alive?"
Anguy laughed at her question and briefly nodded his head. "Yes. Shockingly."
Anguy then carried on to walk ahead of Alia, leaving her alone in her thoughts about Beric and how she would react after seeing him again after a year.
Somehow, Alia still felt apprehensive about the whole situation she was in. She was about to ask Arya about her list but she was soon dragged away by the boy, Gendry, she had learned his name to be and she didn't know of Thoros' presence to ask about what it is going to happen to Sandor.
Was he going to die? Was he finally going to be killed for the crimes he has committed. The crime of screaming 'fuck the King' to the King himself. Would their journey just end like this? Him being hung? There was no doubt in her mind that she did want him dead at some point or another but now... it just didn't feel right to her. She had got a bond with him over the last few months. Sure he was brutal and unkind most of the time but when she woke up and saw him after she killed her mother and saved her... she felt different.
She had lost her brother and he was the one to tell her that and yet, he never judged her when she cried. There were long nights where she would lay awake with silent tears streaming down her face and she'd cover her mouth to hide the heart-wrenching sobs that took over her body but she stayed quiet to not wake him. But, he didn't sleep too well either. He spent most nights awake worrying about her and for her to one day turn around and leave him. Don't be mistaken because he liked being along most of the time but he hated being alone without her. He just admired her. Everything she has done for everyone is something he could never do for himself or others. Yes, he had to follow orders but he never did anything for himself until Blackwater where he went to take Sansa away from there. Now, he doesn't know if it was the liquor he drunk or because Sansa was young, beautiful and kind and wanted her after all but after everything she had been through, the best thing he could have done was to save her. However, he saved something better.
