The rest of the ride to Kings Landing was uncomfortable to say the least as Lady, Sansa's Direwolf, was killed instead of Arya's after the 'attack' on Joffrey. It was even more uncomfortable because it was Ned who had to kill the beautiful creature and therefore caused two crying children to be dragged to a place where they no longer feel welcomed to which Alia and Septa Mordane did everything in their power to cheer up the Stark children, but nothing seemed to have worked.
To make things worse for Alia she had to deal with the awkward tension between herself and the Dog who kept glaring daggers at her whenever their paths or eyes crossed one another. Thou they did not speak, you could feel the tension in the air and even Prince Joffrey had noticed when he commanded his guard to stop staring at the woman after almost riding into the back of his horse.
Lord Eddard had approached Alia and told her he was feeling concerned for her safety, but she just waved it off as nothing and for him not to worry about her, but it was sweet of him she had thought when he did ask about the two of them.
After a month on the road, they had arrived at Kings Landing and of course everyone was tired, Stripe included as he heavily panted when he finally came to a halt after the last push to the end of their journey with Alia and her heavy bags on his back to which she couldn't wait to unload.
She watched as a man had approached Ned and informed him that the Small Council was awaiting him already and that he should go their immediately. Ned then turns to his daughters who were seated on an uncomfortable carriage as the Queen insisted that they were to travel on that from now on and tells Septa Mordane to make sure that Arya and Sansa were to be settled in and then he also turns his attention to Alia and Jory.
"Lady Alianora, Jory, go with them."
"Yes my Lord." They both said in unison and waited until Ned was gone until they made their way to where Sansa and Arya would be staying.
After finally settling the girls in, they both remained sour at Septa Mordane and even Alia when they had tried to make conversation with the two of them.
Alia felt bad for the girls, more Arya than Sansa as it was her who had to break the news to her that Mycah had been killed by The Hound and she erupted in tears, screaming and hitting at Alia's stomach in anger. This only made her feel worse as Alia was wearing her armour and she had hurt her little hands in the process.
Alia sat down on Arya's bed, patting it to signal Arya to sit next to her, her face always looking down at her knees when she does.
"I am sorry you have to be away from your mother, Arya."
Arya stayed quiet still, feeling Alia's stare on the side of her face when she didn't respond.
Sighing, Alia slipped off her mask placing it in her hands and pulling down her feathered hood before saying the little girls name again. "Arya."
With a huff, Arya looked up to the scarred woman, staring into her bright blue eyes and gave a small shrug. "I want to go home Lady Al-"
"Just Alia."
"... I want to go home Alia."
She couldn't help but give a sad smile and give her a light squeeze on the young girl's shoulders before nodding in agreement. "I haven't even gone to my room yet and unpacked and even I want to go home." Alia laughs lightly, trying to cheer up the bereaving girl.
There's another thing that Alia was feeling uncomfortable about and that is that although she had told Arya that her friend Mycah was killed, she didn't tell her that she was there to witness it. She couldn't bare the thought of Arya hating her in case she thought she let it happen no matter what which was not the case. She tried to reason with the Dog, but he killed that boy horribly.
