Alia and Archie ran into the courtyard that morning, overhearing commotions coming from the bedroom window.
As a crowd gathered round, Alia's heart nearly burst out of her chest when Jon Snow was seen stood at the top of the stairs, Davos by his side. He was fully dressed in his Lord Commander clothing and slowly made his way down the steps and through the crowds.
He first stopped when he saw Tormund, whispering in each other's ears but a small chuckle was seen on both of their faces. Then, Jon saw Edd. Edd looked at him in awe, completely speechless that he was seeing his best friend walking towards him and giving him a tight hug. After a few words were exchanged, Jon's eyes laid on the Crows as they watched with teary eyes.
"Oh Jon." Alia breathed being the first to wrap her arms around the young man, holding him close to her as she placed her hand on the back of his head, stroking her fingers through his black hair. Archie joined the hug moments after, placing a comforting hand on the mans shoulder, nudging him slightly. "You still got brown eyes." He spoke, a genuine smile on his face.

When it is was time for Ser Alliser, Othell Yarwyck, Bowen Marsh and Olly's trial, Alia had decided to stand beside Melisandre as the trial commenced. Archie was stood in the crowd next to Tormund and Edd took his place in the gallows, supporting Jon.
As the bodies swung, Alia looking away in discomfort as the men struggled for their breath as the rope snapped their necks, Jon was seen taking off his cloak and handing it over towards Edd before storming away.
Alia watched him walk and then laid eyes on Archie who looked around bewildered before instructing everyone to get back to work.
"What did he say?" Alia had asked Edd when he stood in the middle of the courtyard still holding onto Jon's cloak. She had joined him once the men had started to disperse.
"He said his watch had ended and that Castle Black was mine." Shocked, Alia looked to where Jon had gone, not seeing him any longer before turning her attention back to Edd and placing a hand towards Jon's cloak, her bare fingers running along the animal's fur. "I can understand why." She commented, knowing that after his Brother's had betrayed him, why and how he possibly stay. But, it had put her in a predicament too. Although Jon had his vows, he was Lord Commander and can make his own rules. If he wanted to leave then he could. Her brother however could not and seeing as Jon was leaving, she had contemplated about going with him. He may not be a Stark but he was family to her and she was sworn to protect all the children.
Edd and Alia walked around to find Jon and found him in his chambers, throwing all of his stuff into a large bag.
"Jon you need to think about this." She instructed kindly, sitting down on the chair by his table and carried on watching him as he packed up.
"I have Alia. I can't stay." He barely whispered, not daring to make eye contact with the woman.
"Where you going to go?" Edd asked, walking over to Jon with Longclaw in his grasp.
"South."
"What you going to do?"
"Get warm." John chuckled but the look on Edd's face said it all as he stared at Jon with doubtful eyes.
The smile fell of Jon's face when he saw the look Edd gave him and let out a heavy sigh as Edd dropped Longclaw on the table, clearly angry about the events that were unfolding.
"I was with you at Hardhome, we know what's out there." Edd tried to persuade Jon in staying, although he has having no luck. "We know it's coming here. How can you leave us now?"
