Lauren's POV
I wake up and I don't know how I even ended up at Angie's. The last thing I remember was talking to Alex in his car.
I then grab my phone and realize it's 4:03 am. Well shit. I'm kind of curious on when I fell asleep, but Angie is sound asleep. Huh, I wonder if Alex would respond to me. But he's probably sleeping so I shouldn't bother him.
(Lauren tossed and turned in the futon, but couldn't fall asleep. She started using her phone at 4:49 am. Then she got up and went to Angela's bay window.)
I seriously don't feel like being awake before 5 am. But I can't sleep. Hmm...it wouldn't hurt to find out if Alex is awake.
(So Lauren grabbed her phone and texted Alex.)
Me:
<< Alex, are you awake?
I then turned my phone off, and look out the window. A minute later, my phone lit up from a notification. I check the notification and it was a text from Alex.
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Yes, princess I'm awake
>> Why are you awake at 4:52 am?
Me:
<< I woke up at 4 and after that, I couldn't sleep
<< I've been awake for almost an hour
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Well fuck
Me:
<< Yeah
<< So why are you awake?
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Couldn't sleep either
Me:
<< Why?
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Idk
Me:
<< Ok then

>> Yes?
Me:
<< When did I fall asleep?
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> When we were driving around town 😂
>> We were talking and then out of nowhere, you stopped talking
>> Then I realized you fell asleep
Me:
<< Oh
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Yeah
>> Then I took you to Angela's
Me:
<< Wait, if I was asleep, how did I end up in the futon?
<< I don't remember waking up to go inside the house
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Yeah because you weren't awake
I was confused about what he meant by that, and then it hit me.
Me:
<< Did you carry me inside?
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Yeah
Me:
<< Why?

>> Because I didn't want to wake you up, princess
Me:
<< Well thanks for bringing me inside
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> No problem princess
Me:
<< I'm so bored 😑
Alex|The Cocky Jerk:
>> Me too
>> Question, are you going to school today?
Me:
<< No
<< Doctor told me to relax today
<< He doesn't want me having another anxiety attack
