(Um...I have no idea what I just wrote. I have no explanation other than this is an interesting chapter. It was supposed to come out one way and it turned out a completely different way. Yeah, that's all I'm gonna say. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.)

Alex's POV
I woke up with my peaceful Princess in my arms and I smiled to myself. The fact that this isn't a dream, amazes me.

I kissed the top of her head. Then I gently pulled her off of me and placed her next to me. I then carefully got out of bed and walked to the restroom.

Once I was out of the restroom, I walked back into her room. I got on the bed and hovered over her.

"Good morning beautiful," I whispered in her ear. I then left sweet kisses on her neck.
"Alex, stop!" she giggled. I continued kissing her neck.
"Why should I?" I asked her, still kissing her neck.
"Alex, stop!" she giggled again. I then flip her around so she's facing me and I earned a shriek from her.
"Do you really want me to stop?" I asked her in a low tone.
"No," she said instantly.
"That's what I thought," I said and I connected our lips together.

She immediately kissed me back. I deepened the kiss more as she started tugging at my hair. I groaned into the kiss which made her smirk. I traced my lips down to her neck. I wasn't moving from her soft neck.

"Alex," I hear my girlfriend moan which made me smirk against her skin.

I kept sucking on her skin and I could tell it was driving her crazy.

"Alex," she moaned once again. I lifted my head from her neck and faced her.
"Yes, love?" I asked, trying to sound innocent.
"Are you trying to leave a marking on me?" she asked me.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, sending my girlfriend an innocent smile.
"I swear, if I go look in the mirror and I see a hickey on my neck, you better wish you left me sleeping," she threatened me.
"Welp, I better head out," I joked.
"Alex," she warned.

She then got up from the bed and rushed to the restroom. She turned on the light and looked in the mirror. I sat up, my back against her headboard.

"Alex!" she yelled from the restroom. Uh-oh.
"Yes, love?" I asked. She walked out of the restroom and came towards the bed.
"Did you give me a huge hickey?" she said.
"Maybe..." I said.
"So this is how you wanted to start our morning? By marking me?" she asked.

I then got closer to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and crept my hands under her hoodie. I then rubbed circles on her bare skin.

"Maybe," I said in a low tone. She pulled my hands out from under her hoodie.
"You aren't getting out of this that easy, buddy," she said.
"I love you," I told her.
"I love you too, maybe a little less at this moment," she said as she walked away from me.
"Baby," I whined. "It's not even that bad."
"You only say that because you don't have one," she said.
"Maybe you're right," I said.

I then watched her examine the bruise on her neck. It was still getting bigger. Damn. I feel bad now.

But then I was struck with an idea.

"Here's an idea, how about you give me a hickey?" I suggested. And she turned around and looked at me with wide eyes.
"What?" she asked.
"Give me a hickey so you won't be the only one with a love bite on their neck," I told her.
"Are you being dead serious?" she asked me.
"Yes, I am. Give me a hickey so we can be matching," I told her.
"Um...it's gonna be a bit weird because I've never given a hickey before," she said.
"It's not that hard. It's just sucking on the skin for a long period of time," I explained to my girlfriend.
"Ok," she said. "I guess I'm gonna give you a hickey." I then smiled.
