Chap. 18

I'm highly sure I love him.

Theo POV (it's fun to write in his)

"Theo Raeken?" Inshot my head toward the direction the voice came and stood up. The guy walked over.

"Liam, did not need any surgery and thankfully none of his organs were damaged. But he does have some broken bones, severe bruising, and a mild concussion" He explained to me, "You can see him now, but he is quite out of it just so you know" He said and lead me back to his room.

"Theo!" Liam exclaimed his voice hoarse. He had bandages in many places and a cast on his foot and left hand, the blood had been cleaned off and you could know see all the cuts and bruises. It made me sad to see him like this, but I smiled for him. 

"Hey, I'm so glad your okay" I said giving him a light hug. 

"Alright someone will check in later and the deputy will be in at some point wih Melissa" the nurse said and walked out. 

"You okay?" I asked him smooching the chair up next to the bed.

"Yeah, well now that you're here" he grinned. 

"I know you don't want to talk about it, but you will have to talk to the police about this, so why don't you talk with me first, so it isn't the first time you talk about it" I told him, I want to help him.

"I know, just one moment" He told me his face saddening. I sensed the waves of emotion coming off him, pain, sad, fear, anxiety. 

"Take your time" I said holding his hands in mine. 

"Okay, so ever since my mom died things haven't been the same, I mean of course things would change. But my dad he kind of just turned into a different person, we weren't completely close before so I didn't know he would ever be capable of it. It started out with my nightmares which started instantly after the accident. My dad was cold and distant since he came home from the hospital. He blamed it on me and got mad and yelled at me all the time. I had the nightmares every night, my dad got annoyed with it and would come in and start screaming at me to stop. Then within the week after the accident he 'snaped' he slapped me, I healed, but not quick for him to notice. It just grew more and more each day until he just beat me for the fun of it. I did everything around the house and I had to follow to rules or else. He started taking less shifts at the hospital and would get drunk by himself and with friends almost all the time. He would find no reason and any reason the beat me. I had to leave to house by a certain time and be home. I only got food sometimes, I had my own stash that he makes for me, that only consists of granola bars and often isn't refilled. Then one day I never healed, it was after a really long and harsh, emotionally recking beating, I never healed because it hurt me mentally so much. Which what made it worse was he took me in the basement, one of the 'punishment' besting for when I didn't 'behave' during a beating. Then he left me down there for the whole night. The basement it unfinished and just stuff that works the house and is empty otherwise. And that was when I told you guys I didn't remember and it was probably just some bullies from school. Then he started this tally thing where if he was too tired to beat me or didn't feel like beating me for long he would put a tally on the chalkboard for another time. Then after some small bating leading up to it, I wasn't healing normally, appearently having to do with some herb, I don't know how it's gotten into my system. But it all lead up to when he decided to get rid of all the tallies which there were 5. Then I guess we are here now." Liam told me everything with tear streaming down his face making his cheeks red. I moved onto the bed and gently took him into my arms and cuddled him.

"I'm so sorry Liam, I would've helped you if I knew" I cried with him, I just wish he never had to do it. 

"But you did help me so much, you took my nightmares away when we were together, and you helped me recover, and you made me feel safe" he said and looked back up at me. I smiled down at him. We stared into each other's eyes as we both got lost. His eyes were the most beautiful blue ever. We began to lean in slowly, both eying each other's lips.

KNOCK KNOCK

we both jumped and awkwardly laughed at that.

"Come on in" Liam called. Melissa and Parrish walked in. 

"Hey kids, how you feeling Liam" Melissa said.

"Much better" he smiled, I love that smile so much. 

"I'm glad you're okay kid" Parrish said, "I know this is hard for you, but at least it's me right" Parrish jokes hoping to lighten to mood.

"Yeah" Liam said truthfully. I put my hands in his and nodded for him to tell everything. He told Parrish everything he told me not leaving a detail out. 

"Thank You, I'm so sorry kid, but so you know we have your dad arrested right now and he will probably go on trail and be sent away for a long time" Parrish told him, "I wish I could stay, but duty calls" he said waving as he rushed out of the room as he got called in. 

"So when I'm discharged who will I stay with?" Liam asked.

"Well you've got your pack so there are plenty people, and I'm always willing to take you under my wing" Melissa said sitting down at the end of the bed. 

"I will consider the offer" Liam smiled. 

"Well how you doing, any pain?" Melissa asked.

"I'm doing good right now" He told her slightly glancing to me. 

"Well if you need anything ring me, and the pack is waiting for you if you're ready?" Melissa told Liam.

"I will, and you can let them in" He said.melissa walked to door and held it open for everyone to pour in. It was like a family reunion, but it was great to see Liam generally happy for the first time in a while. 

We stayed the whole night and found out Liam would be released tommrow in the morning. After the others had to head home it was just Liam and I again. 

"So do you know who you want to stay with yet?" I asked him. We were still cuddled up after he whole night.

"I was hoping I could stay with you" he said with a blush crawling onto his face.

"Of course, I was hoping you would say that" I whispered the last part, hugging him, but not too hard.

KNOCK KNOCK

"come in" Liam said.

"Hey guys, sorry to say but visiting hours are over" Melissa said looking at me.

"Okay, see tomorrow morning Liam" I said giving him one more hug.

"Goodnight" Liam said giving me a really cute smile.

I definitely love this boy.
