After the heated kiss between Toni and I we had to take a few minutes to compose ourselves. I still don't know what came over me, scratch that Hurricane was awakened. Whenever I lost control of myself I always blamed it on Hurricane. We give each other one final kiss before going back downstairs.
"What the hell took so long?" Fangs asks as he munches on fries.
"We had to talk" Toni says looking back at me.
Pea and Fangs look at me and I see there eyes fall right on the hickeys forming on my neck they look at each other and laugh. "Yeah, right talk. Whatever you say." Sweet Pea replies.
"Take your shots they're getting warm." Kato hands two to Toni and I we clink glasses and shoot them back.
"Pea can you come on a run with me tonight?" I ask looking at my phone. "Hell yeah let's do it." He says handing me another beer.
The night passes with more pool, singing along with the music playing and round after round of drinks. It seems like the more drinks we have the more flirtatious Toni and I become. And I know Fangs and Pea notice it. I look at my phone and it's now 9:30.
"Wanna go eat at Pop's?" I ask my friends. Love, Kato and Duke decline the offer so I make sure the boys take her home before they go home themselves. Toni, Fangs and Pea all jump into my Jeep and we make our way to Pops.
We walk inside and I notice a new waitress working with Pops. We're in here at least 4 nights a week so we've become familiar with everyone who works there. Pops sees us walking in and like always we're greeted with a smile.
"How is school going Jade?" Pops asks as he takes out his notepad and pen out. "As good as it can be for Southside high I guess." I reply and he just laughs. He takes our orders and a while later he comes to our table with our food.
"Alright gang this is our new waitress Hermione, Hermione that's Fangs, Sweet Pea, Toni and this is their leader Jade." He says as he pats my shoulder.
"Memorize their faces, remember their names these kids are in here quite often around this time." Pops says looking at her. Hermione looks at me with wide eyes her golden tanned skin goes pale.
"Are you ok?" I ask her. She looks flustered and then smiles "yes sorry I'm fine, nice to meet you all." She says before leaving the table.
"Ok that was a little weird, she looks like she seen a ghost." Fangs says. "Yeah I noticed that." Toni says as she steals an onion ring from my plate. We all finish our food and I grab the bill "go ahead I got it."
