After Jade came home bloody with a cut on her cheek and a busted lip it was like my nightmare all over again. Seeing the woman I love with all my heart hurt broke me. And after she told me everything about Duke scared me even more. Hearing that he was in love with me and how he was better for me was such bullshit. Kissing him back that day of Jade's accident was the biggest mistake of my life including all the Cheryl shit I did. I would never put myself in a situation where I could potentially lose Jade again ever. I know she takes my safety seriously so whatever she says I needed to do I wasn't going to fight her on it at all.
This morning the sun was shining bright Jade was still peacefully sleeping the sheets perfectly placed on her naked body. One of my favorite things to do when I woke up before her was just to sit there for a moment and watch her sleep. This was the woman I first became friends with at 6 years old, now she was almost 18 and the love of my life. I couldn't help but take out my phone and take a picture of her.

I didn't want to wake her yet I know she must have been exhausted so I pulled out the remote to our window covers and closed them so now our room was pitch black. I gently got out of bed and walked into our bathroom to get in the shower and hopefully be able to make breakfast for Jade before she got up. Just before I got in the shower my phone went off. I checked it and it was a text from Veronica.

After my shower I called Fangs and asked if he could tag along with Veronica and I for the day of course he said yes. After I finished getting myself ready Jade was still fast asleep, so I went to the kitchen to make her breakfast. Late last night she randomly talked about craving french toast so that's what I was going to make her.
