【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ４１】

It was now Thursday the week had gone by rather fast, every now and then someone would say something stupid but nothing I wasn't hearing before. Fangs, Pea and I just got done doing a run and decided to stop at Pops for dinner since we got done a little early. When we pulled up it was way more packed than it usually was at this time.

We walked inside and found our usual booth was empty. My mom came to our table "hey baby girl, sweets, fangs. What can I get you guys tonight?" The boys order their usual "and what about you mija?" My mom asks "can I just get a grilled cheese and fries with a vanilla shake." She smiles and walks away.

"School is almost out for the summer we need to do something fucking sick this year." Sweets says as he's scrolling through his Instagram feed. "I'm so down I was thinking something like Fiji. The way things have been going for us being able to afford a place like that is within reach. We keep up with these runs. Wolfthorn will be up and running we can do it." Fangs and Pea both look at each other "hell yeah, that's it let's plan that shit asap." Fangs replies.

As Pea is scrolling through his discover page on Instagram a picture in particular catches my eye. "Wait let me see that." Pea sees the picture and hesitates to hand me the phone. "Jade" is all he gets out when snatch his phone.

I felt sick, seeing Toni with someone else hit me like a ton of bricks. No matter how badly I was hurt I was still so in love with her. Having feelings for someone for years wasn't something that went away overnight.

My mom walked over with our food, I wasn't in the mood to eat anymore. I handed Pea his phone back. Beginning to tear up now "I'm gonna go, I'm not hungry anymore." I pulled out $20 way more than what my meal was but I didn't care. During that time I didn't even notice who walked into Pop's.

"Jade" my mom called out as I walked away. Not looking up I ran into someone, that someone being Cheryl. "Watch where the fuck you're going." She says with attitude loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Ahh if it isn't Jade and mommy dearest. Tell us Jade how did it feel finding out you were a bastard child after all these years?" She says with a devilish grin crossing her arms. "Cheryl" my mom responds in a warning tone.

"Shut the fuck up Cheryl" I respond. "Come on I want to know how does it feel knowing that you were mommy and daddies dark dirty little secret? All the years of not knowing Gladys was your mom, surely you didn't think you and Jug were full blooded siblings all these years." Cheryl now laughing.

 I couldn't control myself anymore I lunged forward grabbing Cheryl by the throat and body slammed her to the ground I got on top of her and started pounding on her face.

"Jade stop!" I hear my mom yelling, that didn't stop me Cheryl got a few punches in on me and she somehow ripped my shirt. But she got the brunt of it, Sweet Pea pulled me off of her and carried me outside. Fangs, Toni and my mom followed us out, "get the fuck off me!" I yell. 

Whenever I was beyond angry I cried, so tears were falling from my eyes. My hand goes to my lip and it's bleeding. I get into my car and speed away leaving them in the parking lot.

My phone was blowing up all night long from my mom, Veronica, Jug, Fangs, Pea and Toni. Whenever I got in those moods I would shut the world out that's what I did to protect them from me blowing up on the ones I loved. Hurting the people I love was the last thing I would ever do so that's why I would ignore calls and texts.

I didn't go to school the next day, not because I was scared to see Cheryl. But because I knew what I would do to her if I seen her in the halls. I finally responded to my mom, Veronica, Jug, Fangs and Pea letting them know where I was and that I was alright and why I wasn't at school. I was going to do a run tomorrow night with Kato just to see how he handled this new responsibility I gave to him.
