Jon sighed knowing it was time to leave so he grabbed his bag and limped towards the door wearing new clothes, he unlocked the door's and opened them up limping back towards the fence, he looked around wondering where all the people were, he looked at the gate before deciding to look around some more, he walked along the fence seeing if there was another way into this town. He passed by five blocks before making it to a part of the gate that was broken, wooden boards on the grass and dirt behind the fence, he looked past the broken fence seeing footprints telling him it was zombie's who broke this fence, or people trying to get out of the town that was overrun.Jonathan looked around on the street he was on before beginning his trek up the hill, this side was steeper telling him that these were human tracks he was following up the hill, he finally made it to the top and looked around seeing the train tracks at a turn, he limped towards the tracks and looked around before walking along the tracks, he stopped hearing his stomach roar, he took his bag off and took out a bag of popcorn and opened it as he got the bag on his back and started limping again. It was quiet, Jon didn't mind the quiet, there was the occasional bird chirp and the wind coming by causing the wind to howl, but other then that it was silent, Jon finished his bag of popcorn and to be nice to the environment put it in an empty pocket in his back pack and kept limping down the quiet tracks.
Jon ate more chips as he limped down the track's hoping he was near another city by now, he left the last one which had to be five miles back by now, Jon looked up seeing the sun was going down and looked around for a place to rest but didn't see any options. He sighed and looked down seeing he was done his third bag of chip's, he crumbed it up and took his pack off crouching down to shove it into a spot where the other bags were empty. He then put the bag on his back again and take his water off the clip drinking some before he herd the growling again, he clipped the water back on his bag and pulled the handgun he got from the store out and turned around looking not seeing anything.
He turned around again and his eye's widened, what he thought was a wolf had been a giant grizzly bear, his heart jumped and felt like it was doing laps around in his chest, the bear obviously noticed him 'Why do bad thing's happen to me.' he thought and looked around only seeing woods, thick and dense woods, knowing if he entered them he'd get lost, he wasn't a good hunter like Luke. The bear got on it's two back leg's and Jon got to scared and dashed into the woods on his right, his leg stung with a bit of pain but he didn't have that on his mind.
He hopped over a fallen tree and kept going, he panted coming to a stop and looked back seeing it wasn't following, he turned around completely and everything looked the same, he groaned realizing his mistake of spinning ''Damn it!'' he yelled and kicked a tree regretting that diction, he then leaned against the tree he kicked and slid down feeling tired and looked at his leg realizing it was getting better, he smiled and put his head back wishing he could say the same for his arm that he had wrapped up at the moment.
He pushed off the tree standing up and tried remembering what Luke was saying about hunting ''Listen for water.'' he looked around being very quiet before hearing something break behind him, he spun around pulling his gun out and aimed right at where he thought someone's head would be seeing a zombie ''Shit.'' he looked behind it seeing more and turned limping away from them before they noticed him and ran after him. He looked back at the wrong time and tripped over a root coming out of the ground and tumbled down the hill, by the time he reached the bottom, he was unconscious.
