Marcel opened his eyes and yawned sitting up, he put his feet over the side of the bed and turned around seeing Luke was still sleeping, he smiled and turned over pulling the blanket over him again pulling Luke onto his back waking Luke up a bit ''What time is it?'' Luke asked trying to sit up but Marcel pushed him down laying down with him putting his head and hand on his chest ''Morning.'' he replied and Luke smiled ''Thought you wanted to get to the guys?'' Marcel smiled moving his hand over Luke's bare chest ''They're fine.'' Luke moved his arm around Marcel holding him close, Marcel started playing with Luke's neckless while Luke shut his eye's.
''Did you sleep all night?'' Marcel smiled ''Yes.'' he said and shut his eye's ''Thank's to you.'' Luke rubbed Marcel's arm looking at the ceiling ''You don't seem in a hurry anymore to get to them.'' Marcel pushed off him looking down at him then at the wall breathing in and out ''I still wanna get to them.'' Luke sat up looking at him. Marcel moved the blanket getting up ''We're already going to that camp, what if their there already? Waiting for us.'' Luke said and Marcel turned to him ''And if they aren't?'' Luke moved over sitting where Marcel laid ''They will be, they may be on foot but that doesn't mean they aren't on their way there.'' Marcel turned around ''They don't even know about this place, we're gonna go there and they aren't gonna be there.'' Luke got up seeing Marcel becoming upset and hugged him.
''They'll be there.'' Marcel hugged him back feeling him breathing ''Come on,'' he stated pulling away ''Let's get to that camp.'' Marcel smiled and gathered his clothes, they got their stuff and headed down the stairs getting back into the truck, Luke reached over rubbing Marcel's leg before pulling out of the parking lot and back onto the road ''We're low on food.'' Marcel informed, Luke glanced over seeing him pull two can's of food out ''How low?'' he asked looking back at the road ''Two can's of food.'' he smiled and Luke chuckled ''We'll stop at a store maybe.'' Marcel put the can's back and put the bag in the back reclining his chair ''Wake me when we get near a place.'' Luke smiled and leaned on the car door passing by a lonely buss stop with a zombie who then started running after but Luke noticed that it slowed down faster and stopped losing interest.
It was a long road with some tree's on either side, Luke slowed down coming to a fork in the road, he reached over to the glove box and looked threw it pulling out a map, he shut it and opened the map up looking at it, he sighed and tossed the map into the back turning left following that road now, he glanced down at the gas meter seeing it was low. He looked around seeing a sign for a gas station a mile out, he smiled and glanced at Marcel who was already passed out. He slowed down getting to the gas station and parked the car next to the pumps and got out looking around, he took it out seeing the pump was empty, he turned and walked inside the station locking the truck doors.
He pulled his shotgun up and walked threw the store cautiously, he looked at the shelfs seeing the chip's and candy was all over the ground telling him someone had been here, he walked over to the back seeing a gas can and picked it up looking around seeing a blood trail, he didn't want to bother with snooping around, he went back outside and got to the pumps checking all of them finding that the last one had gas in it, he got the gas out and into the container then brought it over to the truck filling it up, when he was done he went back getting more.
When he filled it up again he brought it to the truck getting inside putting it behind Marcel's seat and started driving again not worried about the gas anymore, he herd his stomach growl and sighed shaking his head to get the thought of eating out of his mind. He saw a sign telling the name's of three cities and how far away they were, he smiled and figured he would stop in the first city that came up which was.
The city was two miles out, so Luke got ready for a long drive, the further he went down the road he saw more zombie's on the side lines and tried seeing threw trees but couldn't, he turned back to the road. A couple hours passed by and Luke saw the sign for the city, he reached over and woke Marcel up, he moved a bit and looked around ''We're entering.'' Marcel sat up and watched the sign pass by, he woke himself up more and sat up more yawning ''How long was I asleep for?" Luke smiled ''Almost enough to pay off for everyday you weren't sleeping.'' Marcel smiled and looked around outside.
Luke turned off the road entering the city and approached the nearby grocery store, he parked and the two got out walking towards the doors. Marcel looked around as they walked towards the store, he stopped grabbing Luke's hand making him stop ''What?" Marcel looked around the parking lot more ''It's to quiet.'' he said and turned to him, Luke looked around feeling what Marcel was feeling, worry ''Get back in the truck.'' Luke said looking around, Marcel turned around looking ''Now.'' he said and pushed Marcel back towards the car but before they could get there Luke saw something round go under the truck, he grabbed Marcel pulling him back and guarded him as the grenade went off blowing the truck up.
